  • About this video: Creating a treatment plan for a dog that exhibits anxious or aggressive behavior is similar to solving the rubik’s Cube. It’s important to work in layers, to be systematic and to work from the base up.

What do you find most challenging about your dog's behavior?
We can help our dogs work through anxiety and reactivity if we have a good plan and if we stick with the protocol.

I love this metaphor. Works for a lot of things in life not just dog training! It's easy to forget that if you stop a dog from doing something, the reason the dog did it (hunger, boredom, fear) is still there and they are just waiting for their chance...

Hi! Exactly. People frequently want to skip steps and address outlying issues. So important to be systematic in your approach to resolving behavioral issues. Best, Alyssa Rose

Hey! You will have to ask your vet about the dewormer. He/she would also have more info on dobermans and frequency of health issues. I personally have not seen or worked with any dobies with skin issues. - Alyssa Rose
