They usually do. Someone comes to the promoter and says, I'll put up 25mil for Shakur, Devin Fight. Bob goes back and tell them we have 15mil to work with on this fight, (Bob uses some of that 10mil to promote the fight while pocketing the rest ) then he breakdown the other 15 amongst the boxers. So Dev says I want 75% of the 15mil Dev would get 11mil while Shakur received 4mil and then the fights fall apart... Because someone priced themselves out but when in reality they were both lowballed. I think Dev getting 15mil and Shakur getting 10mil I think both fighters are happy and the fight gets made.
