I got Spock ears when somebody said old doll, she is an Armand Marseille, 390, more common, but wonderful, they made different grades of dolls, yours looks like a nice one!! Early 20th century.! I have many dolls & I love these! The pictures awesome, I love instant relatives!! Oooooh that Bible, it looks 1860ish, what a treasure!! I have to shut up now, I'm stuttering!! Loved this trip, soooo fun, thanks kids!

Karen, you are one lucky lady. You always find furs, too bad it didn't fit you. Hope you'll go back and get them for your relatives. Should've paid $50 for all three.
1200 for that furniture was bad advice from a dealer!!! 250 more in line!! Always fun up North!!
Here in Va. I think $750-900 would be more in line if they want to sell it. They are going to hang on to it for a while at $1200.

Seems the larger and harder to transport an item is, the more prices vary from state to state and country to country... furniture is a good example... antique sewing machines is another (dirt cheap here, but go for a lot in larger cities like Vancouver and Toronto). One day we'd like to go to Europe and go antique picking there... fill up a shipping container with all sorts of stuff and bring it back. 😀

Hi , the doll is a Armand Marseille doll , I think you have a bargain to coin a phrase , I have many of them , I usually pay around £100 for that size depending on condition , I think she is lovley , I have about 20 bisque antique doll now , I keep them in my mini toy museum in my kitchen , they are creepy at night especially , and they have put a stop to midnight snacks lol !

The baby could be a Halloween decoration. Not a bad haul.
You can buy a casting kit at hobby shop to make a plastic cast of the top of good frame and then use as mold to make a plaster replacement piece for broken frame...
You won't even believe this.... Karen had an *exact duplicate frame* in her 'SPARES' that was undamaged. Just one! I was flabbergasted... so now both images are in matching frames - identical to what you saw in the video - that are not broken. 😆😆😆

yay Barons. Karen I know you don't like sewing but could you hire someone who could do it for you. I thought those too small bur coats would make lovely pillows. Just buy some pillow inserts and have fur sewn to fit with opening to remove for cleaning.

Hi Rob , Karen As always great treasures , great price on the old pictures ,and the doll , but I don't collect alot of old dolls only have a few maybe six so far lol ,have a nice afternoon NBL PS the fur did look a little small for you I liked the long coat with the fox fur next time sure you will find another lol .

@@BargainBarons thank you, we are doing well, most of the damage was outside, the house was spared. We did get some smoke damage to some old oil paintings but I sent them out for conservation. I'm just looking forward to getting back to normal. Most of my time has been involved in helping out in the community, 600 families lost everything. We've been collecting food, clothing and arranging housing for people who lost their homes. It's just part of mountain life. We loose things but come back stronger that before.
That is just totally terrible. I cannot imagine going through something like that. Both of our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and the people of your community.

Sorry Marsha... CZcams inserts them automatically. I trust them not to put too many in but I have had a few complaints lately so I will have to start monitoring how many breaks they are putting into each video. In your settings, you should be able to disable any type of ads from being shown to you including political ads. I have done the same in my settings. I had to look it up on Google tho.
