Thank you! I always fight with the Z-depth's lack of AA not matching my render edges. It never occurred to me to create my own depth pass! Doi!! I'm glad there are smarter people than me out there.
Thanks so much for watching. You should check out my stream tomorrow. I show how to use the edge extension node to circumvent the edge problems on a normal Z pass.
You are a great teacher, but is it possible to learn more in detail about how to create that your own custom depth pass what u showed us in the end? And thank u for sharing ur knowledge!
It’s created by CG, having said that, Nuke can also create ZDepth passes if you have geometry and a camera in nuke using the scanline render but it’s normally coming from CG
Despite the renderer and software, the depth pass is always non-antialised? I thought it's only the case with blender and thta's why people use Mist pass!
As someone who just installed Nuke a few days ago, this series has been amazing! Thank you so much!
Glad you are enjoying it. Be sure to check my VOD live streams! I also stream every week on Thursdays. Thanks so much for your kind words
Great collection, very intuitive, and also loving the 9-inch nails T-shirt.
Thanks so much for watching. More dropping soon. And yes I love NIN, bought it at a live concert here in London. It was amazing!

THanks so much for the suggestion. I was trying to make this video with only the 'vanilla' version of Nuke but I will check it out for sure. Thanks

I don't feel like it's beginners course I feel like it's advance if it's beginner how much advance can go

❤️❤️
can you elaborate what is zdepth pass and how is it created.. is it done by cg artists or in nuke ?
i am asking about the red channel image..
It’s created by CG, having said that, Nuke can also create ZDepth passes if you have geometry and a camera in nuke using the scanline render but it’s normally coming from CG
great
Thanks so much
Is the motion blur rendered from 3D itself?
Yes, in this project yes. Whenever we can we render MB in 3D. It always give you better results.
@@HugosDesk But it holds the control of customization right and with the cost of more render times right?

Thank you!, I will just ask you , image (filter type) require an alpha channel
