  • This is an update video of how our garden area turned out. We had hoped to get the plants in the ground in early June but we had to get a deer fence built first. (We have seen lots of signs of deer on this property so it made sense to fence first, then plant.)
We "foraged" the 10' fence posts from downfall and dead trees in our woods. We made the individual panels to fit each section and they are screwed on so that they can be removed if/when the fence posts need to be replaced.
We finished the lower section of the fence on July 3rd. Veggies went in the ground on the 4th. Flea beetles decimated the broccoli, cauliflower, and kale seedlings, and with Covid-19, we didn't get to visit any plant nurseries to replace them. But we have plenty of space left to do some fall planting and we are now ready to hit the ground running next year.
The ecosystem here must be healthy because we have an abundance of toads. We love seeing the babies hopping around the yard and garden.
We hope you enjoy the video and are staying safe, healthy and having fun in your own garden.

I have to give that film 3 stars due to the lack of character development for the frogs

Well, first, they are toads not frogs. Second, you should support these small independent creatures. With this, their first ever acting gig, they are simply striving to get recognized as true thespians and get a tiny flipper hold in the gigantic world of cinematography.
