Oh alright.... I'll subscribe.... AND ring the bell... AND watch the next vid and the next vid... You're putting out some great content. Keep shootin and sharin! 👍😎
I've made a significant investment of time and resources training myself to make the best possible videos. So thanks for noticing, your subscription is highly valued and won't be taken for granted.
Watched this video with Jake Adam’s presenting when it was uploaded all those years ago, have just finished watching again, I prefer to think of this as a celebration of Jake rather than feeling all sad at his passing, he certainly had so much more to give. 👏 RIP 🪦 JAKE ADAMS. 🙏
Hurts watching jake now, this is a classic jake style video when he started putting out lots of content i just want him back out there doing these littke trips 😢
Great video!!! And nice to see videos with the HOB refuge for pico tanks. That's what I'm doing right now too. Inspired and having some new ideas. Love it!! Thx for sharing!!
sometimes less is more, these tanks are a perfect example. They make me rethink my coral list. I love when people devote there tank to species specific. looks natural almost a right out of the ocean.
I look at these beautiful nano reef tank setups and I think how much money I can save in quipment over my 220 gallon reef tank. How often would it be to light your tank with a single kessil or AI prime
i love this place! Did they show you the tank with the Mantis shrimp??? that thing the coolest thing i have seen in a tank, i have seen her put tweezers in its tank and it attacks. the eyes that guy are so crazy too
Question: do ocelaris/percula stay small when kept in a small tank? Because I know they can grow quite large, especially the female and every time I see them in those nano tanks, I wonder if they either stay this small or if they are being transferred to a larger tank later on...
Yeah we Love that nano stuff.. keep it coming plse, and thanks for sharing! PS do you know how they were maintaining their water chemistry in those thanks.. especially the sps tank??
Hello there. I am setting up a lord tank about the size of the one they have. What color temp were those current usa light strips they had on it? Thank
Great video! I was wondering how to solve that algae problem on the sandbed. It keeps coming back in my tank... Do you have any tips? I already have a sand shifting star and goby. Thanks :)
20 years ago I used regular daylights and Aktinics. LED’s are new to me. Do you change the LED’s over time? Or do you buy a whole new light system every 5 years? How’s that work?
Hey Jake, the corals are struggling under those LEDs. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. Try to get some T5s there and you will see big changes! @4:16 you can see it clearly!! Take a look ate that one with the MH @6:02. beautiful! No comparison! Thanks for the video, Jake!
They are hang on backs. Those come in different names like Finnex External Refugium, Marina Hang On Breeding Box. You can even get knockoff no name ones. You just hang it like a normal hang on back filter and power it with a small submersible pump or air pump.
What are the brachy ones at5:51 Trying to put together a lps and softie anano and maybe easy lps. Is monte digitata easysy. I heard birdnest was easy sps for beginner
I live in German in Erkelenz NRW, I haven't seen anything like this. Maybe some one can help me to find a store similar. Please. Very nice store and aquariums
Hey bro just found you one here noticed you said denver I'm so close and just getting back into reefing gonna give a nano a swing this time around. I was wondering if you know of any good clubs for reefing and trade and Subbed
Not sure what the clubs are up to, especially in summer time. But we've got a LOT of active reefers, and one helluva show called ReefStock in late winter.
Oh alright.... I'll subscribe.... AND ring the bell... AND watch the next vid and the next vid...

Thanks. I have a 29g that I'm starting, so it's nice to see what can be done in a nano tank.
sometimes less is more, these tanks are a perfect example. They make me rethink my coral list. I love when people devote there tank to species specific. looks natural almost a right out of the ocean.
Well done! Great looking nano reef tanks.
super awesome tanks! Thanks for the vid man!
Thank you for your time.
A great bunch nano tanks, and interesting to see what's possible long term with a small amount of water.
Great videos mate, just discovered your channel. Keep up the good work. You deserve alot more subs.

Nice Jake, Loving these videos.
You're welcome and thanks for watching!
They are very very nice tanks. Well done they are inspiring
I look at these beautiful nano reef tank setups and I think how much money I can save in quipment over my 220 gallon reef tank. How often would it be to light your tank with a single kessil or AI prime

Good video!!

What kind of upgraded light was on the fluval spec v ? First nano tank shown? Great vid btw! 👊💯
Way to keep it local the past couple of uploads! Lets have a look at some of your home tanks, Jake!
I've got a few more tanks to feature and I'm sure we'll get a good look at my own reef tanks sometime this summer ;-)
Hi! Nano reefs with corals need ciclyng (40 days ) prior putting them into?
Those are some nice nanos
Question: do ocelaris/percula stay small when kept in a small tank? Because I know they can grow quite large, especially the female and every time I see them in those nano tanks, I wonder if they either stay this small or if they are being transferred to a larger tank later on...
Elite Reef is a good shop. I will have to do some business there when I get back into the hobby.
Any idea what hob refugium are on most of those nano tanks
Loving it
may I ask what kind of filter gel you use to shield out the blue lights?
i swear everyone has their own way of saying "Chaeto"
kee-ta-morpha thats how he says it lol
Noah Fox lol... I've been saying chee-toe-morpha all this time
I say Kay toe
I say chayeeto
How does this work? He mention algae scrubbing?
What type of hob refugium are those?
Wish i knew what they had behind the last sps for filtration!!
love me some nanos !
Nice tanks
What kind of light was on the 5 gallon tank he showed first?
This is tripy.. 😬😬 Great tanks and nice to see we can go small and big at the same time
Are they dosing anything in any of the tanks shown?
Moving all that will be a pain. So stressful to make sure it all makes it.
Yeah we Love that nano stuff.. keep it coming plse, and thanks for sharing!
PS do you know how they were maintaining their water chemistry in those thanks.. especially the sps tank??
Elite Reef Denver wow that's awsome. nice and simple and it works! good to know 🖒🖒🖒
Elite Reef Denver Makes sense. Am going to try and follow this mantra going forward!
It's amazing
Clicked on this by mistake. RIP man.
What power head is the first tank running? The 5 gallon pico tank
I like them store hrs.
these tanks are the reason why I have a reef today
That acan tank just gave me a reefgasm
Nice tank. I would stock it with snowflake clownfish pair.
hello friend where can i get this scrubeer algae can i use in nano 100 liters
Newbie question: How did they get that those polyps to grow on the back glass? Did they secure it in place? Great video - thanks for sharing!
you can either glue them to the glass, or just let them climb from a rock to the glass and then remove the rock once they attached to the glass
what are the leds on the acan tank???
Where are they moving to I’m in Loveland Colorado
Hello there. I am setting up a lord tank about the size of the one they have. What color temp were those current usa light strips they had on it? Thank
I think it was just straight blue LEDs, and the Lords are target fed pretty generously.
Great video!
I was wondering how to solve that algae problem on the sandbed. It keeps coming back in my tank... Do you have any tips? I already have a sand shifting star and goby. Thanks :)
Fabian Hazeu what kind of algae is it?
Fonseca Corals It is this orange/red looking algae on the sandbed.
Dang where can I get one of those elevated reefegium thingies
Was the backing track Nujabes?
20 years ago I used regular daylights and Aktinics. LED’s are new to me. Do you change the LED’s over time? Or do you buy a whole new light system every 5 years? How’s that work?
I just read you have to replace the strips with a freaking soldering gun and shit? So every 3years you buy a new lighting system?
Hey Jake, the corals are struggling under those LEDs. I'm sorry, but that's the truth.
Try to get some T5s there and you will see big changes! @4:16 you can see it clearly!!
Take a look ate that one with the MH @6:02. beautiful! No comparison!
Thanks for the video, Jake!
You're right! There is no comparison between a 70 watt metal halide and a 12 watt LED spotlight
Absolutely beautiful
4:26 specifically what kind of toadstool
Are the pico tanks custom tanks or is there a link to them?
been looking for a nano wave maker for my 13 gallon for a minute... much appreciated!
How did they set up those algae scrubbers that sit above the tank? I'm very interested.
They are hang on backs. Those come in different names like Finnex External Refugium, Marina Hang On Breeding Box. You can even get knockoff no name ones. You just hang it like a normal hang on back filter and power it with a small submersible pump or air pump.
Et merci !!!
You got me to sub...
Great to hear it! Make sure to check out some of the many other videos on the channel and stay tuned as there's always more on the way.
Who makes the HOB refugiums full of the chaeto on the picos please?
Aaron Armstrong I'm using marina breeding box
what was that first tank called?
hey bro what camera do u use?
How well does that Finnex Stingray do for the cheato? I have two 12" models I've been considering repurposing.
Any light is going to rock when it only needs to light up 4 inches across and a few inches deep
Reef Builders
Sweet! Thanks for the reply.
"how often do you dose?"
yes
Top!!! 😁
Does pico reef is hard to keep
Very Beautiful... for such beauty, there has to be a lot of time consuming hard work behind the maintenance along with a high budget spending.
How much is the upkeep of a nano tank per month and how much would I need to get started cost wise
Suzanne H I think you could do a 20 gallon tank from scratch for less than $250. After your setup, it’s prolly only about $15 per month to maintain
What are the brachy ones at5:51 Trying to put together a lps and softie anano and maybe easy lps. Is monte digitata easysy. I heard birdnest was easy sps for beginner
Karen Nation looks like finger leathers and the most hardy sps without a doubt is the pavona
1:20 lords!
I live in German in Erkelenz NRW, I haven't seen anything like this. Maybe some one can help me to find a store similar. Please. Very nice store and aquariums
The tank at 3:50, who makes it?
How do you get acans to be so puffy-inflated?
Can somebody tell me the difference/s between PICO and NANO aquariums please and thank you...

From what I've heard nano is any tank from 140 to 40 litres, whereas pico is any tank below 40 litres.
What's the price of those nano tanks ??
Hey bro just found you one here noticed you said denver I'm so close and just getting back into reefing gonna give a nano a swing this time around. I was wondering if you know of any good clubs for reefing and trade and Subbed
