I recently relapsed, I'm a recovering alcoholic, and this song hurt way too much to hear. I relate to every single word. It's hard to go on when you think you can't be happy sober, but know you'll die drinking. I've felt my emotions had become stone for a while, wondering if I should be alive still. Yet when I hear this, it reminds me I still have my heart and I break out into tears. I'm reassured that my heart is not made of stone. I may break again in the future, or maybe not, but I know I haven't turned to stone. And that's enough to get me by
Breaking and mending continually lets u know youre alive❤while we all break differently, we all do break. We hear "life is hard" a lot but its true. The lows lead us to the highs if we hang in there. Wonderful thing about music. I'm from south eastern Europe, I was watching great tv show Yellowstone and then out of nowhere this song starts and it blows me away. The only country music I listened ever was couple of songs from Aaron Lewis and that's it. Now I'm digging deep into Country, gems like this one. Another music genre added to the list. Bless you all

I was scrolling through you tube maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago when I came across this band. American Outlaw was the first song I listened to, and it made me pick up my guitar and play along. and i haven't picked up my guitar but maybe twice in the last two and a half years. Now I play along with these guys everyday after work. thanks for the beautiful music that i feel comes from the heart.
whiskey Myers. actual musicians, and singers that play real music with lyrics that come from real life. what a concept. people just don't get it. Whiskey Myers....The greatest band since Skyward.
I don't know how that pop music passes the country censors these days. Half of today's "country" songs can be heard on pop stations and you can't tell it's supposed to be a country song. "bro country" is the perfect term.
Hate "country" radio. I listen to Pandora mostly, Frank Foster(country) station and Whiskey Myers is on it a lot. Love it and have spent most my night listening to them.
I`m European and I`m far away from this culture but this song is absolutely amazing for me.I heard it for the first time yesterday when my friend recommended me watching "Yellowstone".This song fits to this film perfectly
I'm from the UK and discovered this amazing song by Whiskey Myers whilst watching Yellowstone S1 ep4.. Rip: 'you look good in neon' Beth: 'who doesn't'..
Take care of yourself, try to talk to the good parts of your family. Lean on good friends who lift you up, not drag you down. Get some professional help if its not enough. Whatever was bothering your Aunt, isn't now. Remember the good parts of her, she lives on through you and everyones memories of her. Good luck :)
The first thing my 3 year old son does when this plays in my truck is says "Turn it up, daddy!" so I turn it up. "Louder daddy!" Then when it ends I hear "Play it again, daddy!"
It's a great feeling when your kids can share your appreciation, and love for great music. Real music. Unlike the majority of crap that's out, and popular in most circles.
I got the words "Have you turned to stone" on my ribs because how this song speaks to me. It reminds me to keep loving and keep moving no matter who or what breaks you.

I wish I had a little more of Jesus in me too. Country has always had its foundation in Christ. We are not too proud to work, we are not too proud to love and remain faithful to our wives till death do us part, we are proud to belong to God, washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ. We love God, love our family and love our country., (Edit: I'm not loving this America. I love the Kingdom of God, and America has ceased to be one nation under God)
these guys and blackberry smoke are 2 bands way under rated. some of the best southern rock I have heard in a long time. both great live bands, a must see.
I am glad they don't get that extended radio play...in my opinion, bands that aren't mainstream..play smaller venues to packed out fans who go out of our way to listen and find their shows..gives them more incentive and feels they have more passion in their music..you can feel their energy, pain, strength..etc Other bands that are good..were GREAT before going mainstream..now having 50 ppl saying dress like this..act like this..sing this..taking their true lyrics and manipulating them to fit the label and persona that label wants them to..robs the genuine art of it all..and with that...the heart and that FEELING you can sense to your core..it's lost. For me, I'm so grateful to have found them...haven't had a band give me chills in a long time...so excited to see them play
These guys grow on me more and more. Music and lyrics that go right to my heart. Thank you for this Whiskey Myers. Know that your talent is appreciated out here.

🖤
❤❤❤thanks for the lyrics 😊
Thanks for lyrics!
Whiskey Myers....The greatest band since Skyward.
have ya heard of a band named blackberry smoke ..check them out if not ...:}
Love both, great song writing bands.
Also try The Cadillac Three. Just saw them live last weekend. Awesome band.
D.R. Howard I'm so glad these guys started coming to east Tennessee the last couple of years. Great live band.
Thank you Yellowstone for introducing me to this amazing band! 👌🏻
Just played this for my piano recital…I could NOT have chosen a better song ❤
That organ scream towards the end is awesome. Also check out Civil Twilight Letters from the sky if you haven't already
@@samhall5426 Will do!
Awesome beautiful piano
When you're fed up with "bro country" you branch out and find stuff like this
Right
I don't know how that pop music passes the country censors these days.
🤘🏿❤!
Nate Trav fr
Cody Jinks, Whiskey Myers, Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson.. Keep the revolution going. **Added Zach Bryan!! Definitely changed my mind..
Eric Brandenburg and Colter wall
Colter is okay but I dont put him in the category as these guys.
Hell yeah
Koe Wetzel, Read Southall Band, William Clark Green, Turnpike Troubadours to add a few more if you are digging this.
Chris Stapleton too
I`m European and I`m far away from this culture but this song is absolutely amazing for me.I heard it for the first time yesterday when my friend recommended me watching "Yellowstone".This song fits to this film perfectly
I'm from the UK and discovered this amazing song by Whiskey Myers whilst watching Yellowstone S1 ep4.. Rip: 'you look good in neon' Beth: 'who doesn't'..
How are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song.
@@davidholton9667 Same post dude, give it up! Stalker Alert!👆

I totally agree! And I'm a Hard Rocker! Lol 🤘

It's why I'm here, because of the algorithm! Let's go! This band is so good
I just lost my aunt to a long battle with alcohol and drug addiction and depression this morning 🙏🏻 please send prayers
😢 🥰
Shitty somebody confused something
Congratulations on recovery. Prayers for you 🙏
Ur aunt is no longer suffering. God has her
This & Chris Stapleton is the best music out right now.. totally a faith restoration in humanity. 🙏🏽

I know bro I felt the same way. Love these guy just discovered them
Not sure how I ran across this song but probably the best song I’ve heard in years!! Just great music!
HELLO..... THANKS FOR WATCHING AND COMMENTING ON MY CZcams CHANNEL.
I heard it on Yellowstone! What a great show!
The chorus struck me deep. Few songs outside of good ol' gospel bring me to tears, but I felt this.
As someone restoring their faith, this song has helped me be more forgiving of my wrongs.
I felt that!
Absolutely
Amen sister 🙏
Just read your Bible daily for yourself. 1 chapter a day
Hey how's your progress?
“Wish I had a little more Jesus in me” Amen!🕊🎂
Always
These guys and Chris need to do a couple songs. Pure as it gets.
Ima hip hop head, but music like this moves me just as well. Great vocals on this joint!!
Metal Head here and even if we´re from two different Genres we´re listening to that masterpiece - that speaks for itself, peace bro!
The first thing my 3 year old son does when this plays in my truck is says "Turn it up, daddy!" so I turn it up. "Louder daddy!" Then when it ends I hear "Play it again, daddy!"
Beautiful man, i have two kids, and showing them the good music, greetings from the south of Brazil.
It's a great feeling when your kids can share your appreciation, and love for great music. Real music. Unlike the majority of crap that's out, and popular in most circles.
You're teaching him the love of great music & creating wonderful memories for both of you. Keep it up, Daddy!!!
My boys are 27,25 and 20 but I remember those days. In fact it was my 20 yr old who passed this song on to me.
The best lol
I got the words "Have you turned to stone" on my ribs because how this song speaks to me. It reminds me to keep loving and keep moving no matter who or what breaks you.
That's really beautiful. 💗

I would gladly agree with that
1000% agree
Not sure what's in that Texas water bt that great state is sure pumping out sum tremendous artist...Cody Jinks, Randy Rogers and of course Whiskey Myers!! Love it boys keep it coming
Texas boy here . I grew up on pure country gold music I’m 34 now and I can remember my dad jamming old country. It’s been a while now since I’ve heard country that was worth a damn. But that god for whiskey, Chris Stapleton, uncle Lucius, and a few others,
it's freedom.
they don't sell out to the devil
Texas makes stronger people than most i believe. I too am an ol'boy from Texas. We stay true to our colors
Been sayin it for a while now true country comes from Texas these days not Nashville anymore
Hi fellow Yellowstone fans. I heard this on there and it had that haunting melody that ran thru my head. Good song

I was never country..but this song bangs..great..

I wish I had a little more of Jesus in me too. Country has always had its foundation in Christ. We are not too proud to work, we are not too proud to love and remain faithful to our wives till death do us part, we are proud to belong to God, washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ. We love God, love our family and love our country.,
(Edit: I'm not loving this America. I love the Kingdom of God, and America has ceased to be one nation under God)
Amen!!!!!
AMEN!
Amen! Just read your Bible and you'll have more of Him in you. In the beginning was The Word...John chapter 1

these guys and blackberry smoke are 2 bands way under rated. some of the best southern rock I have heard in a long time. both great live bands, a must see.
chief 2017 if you haven't already checkout the Steel Woods ,great up and coming Southern rock band.
yes they are. should have been album of the year
One of the best country song made 💯
HELLO🥰 THANKS FOR WATCHING AND COMMENTING ON MY CZcams CHANNEL❤️🎶
It was used "Yellowstone." It's how I knew about it.
I can listen to this song every day!
It's a crime that bands like Whiskey Myers and The Cadillac Three don't get any radio air time!
we play them on our station wffmradio.com
tara stoyle that's great tell the rest of these tools to get off the Jason Aldean, and the whole lot of them a holes. Lol
It's because they don't fit in with the mainstream media and it's a crying shame
Nashville doesn't play anything but Pop Country. Add in Jason Boland & The Stragglers to your list.
I am glad they don't get that extended radio play...in my opinion, bands that aren't mainstream..play smaller venues to packed out fans who go out of our way to listen and find their shows..gives them more incentive and feels they have more passion in their music..you can feel their energy, pain, strength..etc
Other bands that are good..were GREAT before going mainstream..now having 50 ppl saying dress like this..act like this..sing this..taking their true lyrics and manipulating them to fit the label and persona that label wants them to..robs the genuine art of it all..and with that...the heart and that FEELING you can sense to your core..it's lost. For me, I'm so grateful to have found them...haven't had a band give me chills in a long time...so excited to see them play
Who is still listening september 2019
Did JayZ produce this?
