Calling this a battle might be a bit much, it's more of a total slaughter. This new #evangelion set is just so, so much better than the other one I have it really isn't even fair. I've finally found an Evangelion set worth opening and I couldn't be happier!

The first edition was on aliexpress, however the format of the first set was a blind box format with a few cards per box.
There was someone on the discord that bought a case of the first set but was also confused about the second set becoming a full box.

Oh thanks, that makes sense - I tend to avoid to purely blind box sets. I was pretty impressed by this one though, there is a ton of card variety there.

For evangelion I always remember that my parents does not want me to watch as a kid they rather let me watch voltes v sailormoon and dragonball

I remember not really understanding Evangelion when I was younger, it took a few watchings and reading some wikis to really start to understand the deeper themes.

The box you aren't a fan of reminds me of a bootleg box of MLP cards. Super bad set where you can get dupes in the same pack. I've been trying to get box one of the set to see if the cards are different but every time I order box one that is pictured I get the box two.
