If you get Ash You have 4 more cards in hand to make the full Chimera combo plus additional 12+ Flex spots for Hand Traps that most of the versions of this deck are using now. Same for Droll considering that it's pretty easily to setup the Chimera pop under Droll.
@@ExordiodelDuelista this is also assuming you draw chimera combo aswell which news flash also dies to droll,ash,imperm,veiler and etc. unless you have mirror sword knight in hand your losing to droll.
@jayman445 chimera combo has 6 copies of the 1 card combo, then you have all the branded stuff which are 1 card combos so it ends up being like 9/10 1 card starters. That plus the fact you can run frughtfur patchwork as ash bait and an extender, and if the branded stuff gets ashed you can do the chimera stuff. Like it has weakness like droll (but there's lines to play around that) And doesn't like ash on the illusion monster if you don't have other follow up. But it's relatively consistent and pretty strong, and surprisingly resilient
@@lunaeons45 this is incredibly incorrect. ash mirror sword ends the turn without branded fusion...even with branded fusion in this case your not able to go full combo without 2-3 cards. The end bored is non existent and does nothing in the current format. Your best card is branded fusion which isn't that great of an extender. Mathematically your opening up 1-2 of the one cards in a 5 hand and even when you do mirror sword + cornfield conflict. this forces you to either open branded fusion+mirror sword/ cornfeild, or lose to one distrubtion. gazzel and berf in the same hand is good but thats a 2 card combo...a 2 card combo thats not even full combo. Deck suffers from the fact that cornfeild cannot be a proper extender. this leads to them losing to 1-2 handtraps. and its only 2 handtraps when they have branded fusion in hand. granted in a zero chamber this deck is very consistant. however with its weakness being not able to extend consitantly and fully...its just not good.
OK you ash branded fusion, they still get a hand rip, a monster negate, and a negate for targeted effects, along with the dark barrier statue, plus a guardian chimera for 1 to 2 pops. Like it's not the strongest t1 board but their strength is in their t3, on the comeback as they can otk out the ass Branded chimera used branded stuff as ash bait so their other stuff can go off. And if you open say friggtfur patchwork and branded fusion you can bait ash with friggtfur and do full combo
The opponents already been hand ripped by 1, and the deck can set up a barrier statue on top of this field with the right cards. So suddenly you drnm have 4 cards to try break through a barrier statue, a guardian chimera, and the follow up from chimera

Too heavy hand trap meta..this is all nice on video does not happen on tournament. You need to have cards to keep going..dodge handtraps. Etc.
