Slammed Plaid | How I Accidentally Lowered My Tesla Model S

- This was not by design, not on purpose. I was swapping out a new set of Bronze Signature Wheels on my Tesla Model S Plaid, and because of a unique sequence of events, I got my car to go into an ULTRA LOWERED mode!

Jack mode stops the car from trying to self level potentially causing damage while jacked up.
I usually set to very high , then enable Jack mode .
That’s what I usually do too! Forgot to this time, triggered alarm, and the rest is history 😳
Not sure if this was mentioned below (how to get out of JM) but I had my Plaid on the rack yesterday and the easiest way to get out of Jack Mode is to go the service section on the screen and as long as Jack Mode is in blue- press it. It will then be back to normal and you can adjust your suspension as usual.

This was a jack mode that essentially dropped suspension to max low setting- the opposite of what jack mode is supposed to do!

It’s amazing how a reboot fixes problems!
Reboot did not fix this.
What fixed it, was driving forward, reaching 4-5mph, then it enabled ride height selection, and then height was adjusted.

Yeah thx 🙏🏼 based on how other features seem to engage/ wake up when driving 4mph, I hoped and assumed that would be the case- and it was!

Do you have any Anti-theft wheel locks.. those are very expensive wheels and attractive to criminals.. Looking for locks for my model S

No… reset didn’t do anything
Driving forward is what enabled ability to control ride height again.

Plaid needs better, much better brakes, only then put the rims on
