    This video was super helpful. It is my first time in Seoul in 10 years and also the first time I am travelling around by myself. Thank you so much.

    I am an American visiting Seoul for the first time. Kimchi is correct! I was amazed at how easy it was to understand and use the subway. If you're feeling nervous just use common sense and Pay attention to where you are and where you are going. Train stops are announced in both English and Korean. Be extra attentive at "transfer stations". I got very turned around in Gongdeok station. Remember to remain calm and when all else fails you can ask the station attendant at the entry/exit of the subway by saying or pointing to what station you are trying to get to.

    This is a very helpful video! I have a question: What if I don't use up the money in the T-money card, will I get the refund?

    Can you get a week travelcard of unlimited rides? I was recently in London, and they had them. I hope to go Seoul next year.

    +TheTravelingKimchi, me and 2 of my friends are planning to use the tmoney for subway instead of using taxis because it is much more cheaper, but i wonder do all of us need to have our own tmoney card? or could we just buy 1 tmoney and use it together?

    • @TheTravelingKimchi
      @TheTravelingKimchi  Před 8 lety

      Good question! Yes you do! When taking the bus you can tell the bus driver "2" and he will increase the charge for two people. However, for the subway each person will need their own tmoney, one way ticket, etc to scan themselves in.

    How much money do you recommend to put on the card if you are in Seoul for 10 days ?

    • @TheTravelingKimchi
      @TheTravelingKimchi  Před 7 lety

      $20. If you are a tourist then you will probably blow thru that zipping around everywhere haha. But start $20 -you can always add more-and adding more is super easy! :)
