Love ALL your vlogs, the Batumi vlog was awesome and so is this one. We visited Georgia and really loved it, Visited Tblisi, Vardzia, Borjomi, Akhaltsikhe Castle which were all nice. We crossed the border Turkgozu into Turkey and went to the city of Kars. Can't wait to see your next vlogs. Love & respect from Bangladesh

Beautiful And wild Georgia. I like to suggest places to visit by the border of Georgia as you enter back into Turkish Artvin region. Such as Artvin castle, Balık gölĂŒ ( lake). Famous çifte köprĂŒ( Historic double bridges). Karagöl (lake). Mençuna Ćalalesi (water falls). Rutav gölĂŒ (lake). Ăimli göl(yet another beautiful lake). Yusufeli Demirkent village. Historic Barhal church. Hopa çavuĆlu village. Artvin is a beautiful area to explore. Good luck đ

When you are on the South East coast of Turkey can I suggest you have a look at Kizkalesi, near Merson. It's a beautiful old castle in the sea on a popular beach and just west, on the coast, there are some amazing eateries. I visited there for a weekend many years ago while I was working near Adana and Mersin
Hmm - stuck on the cable car is not my idea of fun - just glad they sorted out the power. Great view at the top of the mountain. Have you watched the film yet or will that be in the next video?

Knowing Marianne isn't fond of heights, that must have felt a *particularly* long pause for the ski lift! đŹđŹ Did you ever learn the reason? At least the view was lovely as the company. Looking forward to seeing what kind of roads a Georgian rates as "Eehhh..."!!! â€â€đđxx
Ha Ha - yep it was a bit crazy !! The power failed ... and then failed again ... and again LOL !! But yes we were able to spend quality time together LOL !! And I have to be honest - I am getting much better with heights .... Woo Hoo !!

on the Monday would admit he has a problem with heights I know today cable cars are very safe and the best way to see the top of the world you can open your eyes to the amazing sights and views of the surrounding area and also fill your lungs with all that fresh air we can't do that in the UK and also you have wonderful breakfast as you know what always fresh I'm quite appetising and everyone you meet it seems to be quite friendly always remember as the song says never look back it was a big hit in the 80s buy peter tosh it's one of those songs you don't forget it's like life when you've been there seen in got the t-shirt it always stays in the back of your mind just like TREAD the glob travellers having the best time of their lives great photography and of course valuable information which helps when you're out and about visiting new parts of the world any ho be good be safe xxxxxxxxxx

That is the plan for next spring ... we have to drive back to open the turtle conservation centre that we fund raised for before we can continue ... and the borders / weather are not in our favour until next spring ... so not yet !! đđș

is this mode of travelling affordable for non-vloggers? as cheap as slow travelling air bnb backpacker? do you have a vid about expenses? what is availability of campsites? do people buy campervans in Eastern Europe?
Hi Kevin ... Vanlife is an investment as you have to commit to buying a vehicle and then maintaining ... but it works out cheaper for us when we are in Trudy. We backpack and van - so we find if you have a van you save on the cost of accommodation - and you can travel slowly to avoid high fuel costs (well as long as the visa allows you to stay in a country). On the old website we shared costs - but we just don't have time to now, and costs depend on how fast you travel, which country you are in, if you eat out, what you eat, if you wild camp, etc.... You also have insurance, maintenance, tolls, etc ... so it is has so many variables that it is almost impossible to fix a cost list. We wild camp a lot (subject to the country we are in) and I have never bought a vehicle outside of the UK so I do not know this answer ... Best wishes Marianne

Hi Nickle - not long enough !! We have a lot of tech that we charge ... but it is deffo struggling so we have made plans to get it checked out and sorted when we get to Antalya - we will of course share the outcome đđș Marianne
