GARLIC CONFIT SMOTHERED PRIME RIB WITH GARLIC CONFIT MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY & GARLIC CONFIT HORSERADISH CREAM SAUCE
Prime Rib Rub:
4oz Sherwood’s Garlic Confit Spread
2oz Sherwood’s Garlic Confit Infused Olive Oil
3 Tbsp Better Than Beef Bullion Paste
2 Tbsp Coco Aminos (or soy sauce)
1 Tbsp Hot Prepared Horseradish
1 Tbsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp Rosemary
1 tsp Thyme
1 tsp White Pepper
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tbsp Paprika
7 Lb Prime Rib.
Preheat oven to 500 F.
Cook @ 500 F for 45 minutes then shut off the oven and leave the roasting in the oven for at least 2 hours without opening the oven door at all. Very important to not open the oven door.
Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
4oz Sherwood’s Garlic Confit Spread
2oz Sherwood’s garlic infused Olive oil
4 Quarts Boiled Potatoes
1/2 cup Warm Milk
16 Tbsp Softened butter
1/2 cup Softened Cream Cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste
Horseradish Cream Sauce:
2oz Sherwood’s Garlic Confit Spread
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Sour Cream
2 Tbsp Prepared Horseradish
1 Tbsp Stone Ground Mustard
1 tsp Hot Sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and Pepper to taste
Prime Rib Gravy:
2oz Sherwood’s Garlic Confit Infused Olive oil
2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
1 cup Beef Broth
1/4 cup Prime Rib Pan Drippings
Pepper to taste
