I main Hit and I can tell you it'll be a cold day in hell before you instantly master him.
I didn't know i had to press start and look at his special moves to INSTANTLY become a GOD with HIT. Great help to the community !

Fun fact: Hits "death blow" special attack can be charged and when at a 3 charge it deals more damage than time skip. At 7 charge it deals almost 70% damage.
Its literally a gun ngl. I don't really play hit too much but it seems like a good option for finishing characters.
ICE DOESNT NEED TO COVER THE ENTIRE SCREEN TO HIT.
I want to make this abundantly clear, you CAN just get under them and it will hit
Deadly Intent moves Hit into his Vital Point stance...pressing any attack button will result in the corresponding Vital Point attacks. You’re making it sound like it’s completely different. And holding medium attack will cause him to go into Tides of Time stance...explaining that blue time aura. You incorrectly held down your inputs so your Deadly Intent follow ups were in tandem with Tides of Time attacks, not Vital Point-this in itself is a different point of use for Hit.
I wish I could like this more than once so more people get a chance to see it without scrolling way down.

Not trying to be rude, but most of the stuff you are talking about in this video I learned within 10 minutes of playing the practice mode. How is any of this going to make me god like with Hit?🤷♂️

For the Icy Glare, you can tap the button you used to start it once it gets under your opponent to instantly hit them with it

release the button when you want to activate it. from that point onward, I knew this guy didn't know shit on how to play him let alone teach anyone on how to MASTER him *sigh*

tides of time is when hit creates a completely different dimension after he’s built up enough time, he can’t be hit because what you see is basically just a ghost copy of where hit was.

So basically, find any massive combo to combo into that dash attack and then use the 3 bar, and you win. So long as you ONLY use the dash before the 3 bar.
I learned a little something new from this. I never used mark of the assassin and I didn't know you can make tides of time go up or down. Thanks for this.

You don’t have to wait for the ice to finish traveling across the screen for it to grab your opponent. I forget what to do, but I remember you can get it to stop traveling and just grab the opponent.

I dont know if im missing something or what but in my game, if you hold R2 in Death blow move, it consumes all your ki and if you have lets say 7 it deals like 6k dmg

4:35 Deadly Intent, medium version works as a double cross up since you rush to the other side of your opponent, then strike from their back side. It sorta annoys me that you didn't know that or/and mention it.

Only think I learned is you can do two "Realized Powers" in one combo.
Cruz Daniels you actually cannot combo 2 of them... watch the part in training... you can tech out right after... but for sake of argument if they aren't smart enough to tech out you can do 7 in one combo

You need to do this for all characters
My problem with Hit is that his moves take a lot of momentum at close range. How can I improve on that?
How to play hit:
1. Pick hit
2. Pick 2 characters with good assists (black, android 16, ssj vegeta...)
3. Throw simple combos with good timing and at the end of every single one throw one of your assists.
4. Become an unstoppable god.
I like how everyone explains it in pc when most play on console..

I mean...this is useful if you just want to know what his specials do. Maybe a beginners guide to hit, but this doesn't show you how to become a GOD with Hit.
Some advice if you plan on making more guides with this title:
Teach the Normals
Teach the Specials
Teach the Supers
Teach the Neutral
Teach the Combos
Teach the Mixups
Those are what you have to know to become a GOD. Not just specials.
Therefore, the name of this guide should be:
Understanding Hit's Specials
or
A Beginner's Guide to Understanding Hit
