I discovered Horn Loaded Speakers 50 years ago and still listening to them. They are great

Absolutely stunning! If that is the standard of the 1930s... what progress have we really made since then? Horn speakers are unsurpassed. We have to make compromises due to our limited living space in flats or houses, alas. Thank you for sharing this unique experience.

This video actually transports the sound of the 30's. If you compare this with digital recordings of the titles played, you are very impressed

Well… what the F? We’ve gone backwards… This is absolutely spectacular!

There is something magical about big, big horns, the clarity, the snap - dynamics, ability to control the air in a room - they seem to grab the “air” and move it and can simulate the engulfing of the entire environment. Of note, I happen to be one of those idiots that believe their is no such thing as a too big of a TV and the same holds for speakers if placed properly within the space - for me I’ve turned into an Altec corner horn fan which mitigates many of the boundary issues. Killer system and all those who value emotional sound should thank these guys for keeping the flame burning.

Thank you AF for this cool video. It is good to see J.C.Morrison formally of the NY Triode Mafia here. Oh what I would give to have the speakers and the room/space to utilize them to their fullest. Thank you again.

yes its pointless to demonstrate such equipment with synthesised or heavily processed sounds. A waste of time.

Please get the presenter a lav mic, or else get the audience to stop talking.
