Despite all the negativity Alabama has received since the retirement of Saban and the players who hit the transfer portal I think Kalen Deboer is gonna have Alabama right back in the mix of things this year. The roster the still stacked with talent and I think Alabama will have several young players emerge that nobody has really even heard of yet outside of the die hard Alabama fans who already know about them. If Jalen Milroe can take that next step as a QB I think Alabama will be competing for a National Championship.
I agree 100%. It’s reasonable to expect a slight step back after the GOAT retiring, but you hit the nail on the head. The step back shouldn’t be to big. Deboer is a legit good coach. He took a team with 20% of the talent of the current Bama roster to the natty. People should give him his props. He’s a good coach and I think he’ll pick up where Saban left off. Milroe was good last year, it will be a new scheme but Deboer will put him in the position to utilize his skill set. Great breakdown!
I like Texas but they did lose a lot of offensive weapons
That is true, they lost some on the D line as well
They did, Sark has to rebuild that roster
@@HCramblinman very true, they have good recruiting though. But agree losing Mitchell and worthy is huge
@@3rd-And-Long Including one of the best DLine coaches in the country. To an SEC opponent no less.
@@user-xp6qd4sk1j great point. They still have the talent, we just need to see the new product on the field
