Synopsis: Three Christs follows Dr. Alan Stone who is treating three paranoid schizophrenic patients at the Ypsilanti State Hospital in Michigan, each of whom believed they were Jesus Christ. What transpires is both comic and deeply moving.

But the real movie was the jesus we found along the way.

They can speak into our ears all manner of thoughts, tempt us to sin against our God and His Ten Commandments. They are invisible and they are cursed by God. They are real and very evil. They most importantly want to keep us from a Real relationship with our God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God says, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and the wages of sin is dead but the GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. " So God The Father sent His Son into this fallen world for the purpose of dying on the cross for OUR SINS AGAINST GOD. JESUS TOOK THE PUNISHMENT WE DESERVE UPON HIMSELF WHEN THE WRATH OF GOD WAS POURED OUT ON HIM.
His blood can take away our sins. He was buried and rose from the dead on the third day just like He said He would. He's alive today, and IF you will believe God's testimony about His Son, REPENT OF YOUR SINS, AND CALL OUT TO JESUS TO SAVE YOU FROM THE WRATH OF GOD THAT'S COMING SOON, HE CAN SAVE YOU FROM YOUR SINS AND GIFT YOU WITH ETERNAL LIFE AND PEACE WITH GOD. PLEASE BE RECONCILED TO GOD TODAY WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME. TRULY, Carol

It seems like the trailer is trying to be like "paranoid schizophrenia!! Wooooo! How SCARY!!" while the actual movie is in the background trying to be serious and sensitive

There is a play with a similar plot, I only know the German name 'Die Physiker' It's pretty amazing

Not if this movie follows the real events lol, Three Christs actually happened, if you've ever taken a psychology class you'll know the outcome.
@@alita8900 There's expectations, there's reality and then there's what Hollywood serves up. In all fairness it seems like an interesting movie with some fantastic actors. It's definitely one to add to the list

Walton Goggins and Bradley Whitford are two of the most under-appreciated actors right now, I'm so glad to see them get the spotlight with Dinklage.
Another inspirational story where the scientist saves the world and makes his woman proud by bravely looking at sick people.

In the end the doctor gets cancer, but the 3 jesuses join their forces to heal him. Its amazing.

True story: my dad is a mental health professional, and he was working on Christmas Day one year, when they were having loads of patience coming in who thought they were Jesus, angel Gabriel, the prophet Mohammad or God. I remember him saying it was a stressful day😬

Many indie films usually look for a distributor by showing it at film festivals, so it probably took them a while to find someone to distribute it or there might have been other issues like original company who was going to distribute it backed out on the deal or went under ect.

This is dumb. I have schizoaffective disorder and am on my way to getting my bachelor's and then my doctorate in optometry. We're not all trapped in some asylum. We're functioning members of society. If you want a better idea of what we are like read the Center Can Not Hold by Elyn Saks. She's a tenured professor of law at USC, and a winner of the McArthur Genius Grant Award. I wish they would make a movie about how we're normal and doing the best we can in life.

Take everything with a grain of Salt but Moses is recorded to have done various miracles that others had evidently witnessed.
