This is a recreation of the opening scene from the Mortal Kombat (1995) film, only instead of killing Liu Kang's brother Chan, Shang Tsung is killing Luigi -- and Mario has been given "The Dream"! Images rendered by farid.mortal.kombat and audio editing is by me. Check out our socials!

It’s a parody of the first mortal Kombat movie. That’s literally the start of the movie, Liu Kang has a dream (which is real) that his brother is killed by Shang. The dialogue is 100% the same besides he yelled Liuuuuuuu! instead of Mariooooo
Then Liu kang wakes up to a message that says brothers dead return home.
