- Recorded May 8, 2024 -- From The Abbey in Orlando, Florida -- As part of the Lords of Acid "Make Acid Great Again" tour, the band members Praga-Khan and Oliver Adams (who make up The Immortals) performed the Mortal Kombat theme song live! I was there and captured it on video. Enjoy!

Cool video. I seem to remember reading the guy they got to say "Mortal Kombat!!" was the guy from the original commercial, the way that guy says it just can't be replicated like Ed Boon's "Get Over Here"! You know what I mean? This song will never die though and always be one of the most iconic video game based songs, if not the most.
It's true -- the sound sample used in the song came straight from the commercial!

In this live version, Praga-Khan did the Mortal Kombat yell (instead of Kyle Wyatt or Cordell Iochin) and the announcer's cues (instead of Ed Boon). But I thought he did terrific anyway!
