Starbucks customer pro tip: never order a shaken espresso drink without ice. It's dangerous for baristas to shake with no ice because the espresso is freshly poured and very hot!
Ordering it with no ice Is is also dumb cause it's literally 80 percent ice đ
What's the point of having it shaken if there's no ice anyways
Do they really have to shake drinks that don't have ice? Can they not rotate the mix cup with their wrist or stir it with a wooden stirrer/spoon? That's stupid if they're forced to shake drinks like that. :^|

âShakenâ means shaken with ice so even if you ask for no ice they would still shake it with ice then pour it in a cup without the ice
Huge thumbs down boooo on Starbucks not allowing you to accept tips. I worked at a restaurant that put signs on the tables for people not to tip and guests would throw a -fit- how ridiculous it was that we couldnât accept tips & I agree.

yeah starbucks the corporation has nothing to do with this, itâs all target. and to some degree i get it because if we could get tips weâd be making more than all the other departments who are supposed to be on the same level as us, but it still sucks to have to turn money down like that.

I get around $50/week in tips at my Starbucks. It's because this is a licensed store, not corporate
You ask more questions than any Starbucks barista Iâve ever come across. They usually have really crabby attitudes but you seem like you go above and beyond for every order đđ»â€ïž

try pouring the espresso before the ice on the shaken espresso; going ice first, the espresso melts the cubes quicker and it becomes more watered down !

I once got a caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino and I wanted to experiment so I added 2 pumps of mocha sauce and mocha drizzle and it felt like they substituted drink for mocha

Probably thinner lines. If itâs too thick itâll be heavy and fall through
@@Samolah2 This. Drizzle the caramel on kind of fast - if you go too slow, the drizzle lines will be heavier and fall through the froth. If it isn't your speed, than maybe apply less pressure squeezing the caramel out
squeeze the bottle much lighter and itll sit on top instead of sinking in

Starbucks is a get your coffee and out sugar drinks. I manage a small shop in cali some where around melrose they really donât know coffee, but sweet heart your doing an amazing job keeping up with the drinks but at the end of everything itâs not the right way of doing them. what does shaking the espresso with syrup do? how is it different from mixing? froth? Or is it just more efficient since you dont have to stir it and use a bunch of spoons?
Target team member tip: you can accept tips from guests as long as you make it known we technically canât but if they still insist we are allowed to accept them.
It's so satisfying when the ice falls as she pours the espresso in the shaker.
