  • This episode takes in the canal system from Blisworth to Gayton Junction in canaltime
A short leisurely cruise on a warm spring day taking in the varied countryside of Northamptonshire and the Grand Union Canal
Passing a vintage working boat ( Greenock : see below ) and a few moored boats but no oncoming craft is a rare occasion
This is the first cruise that has been dry since late last year ,so was a joy to be in the sun but it was short lived and weather has now returned to normal and will more likely stay that way until at least the start of June
I have been a live aboard boat dweller for most of my Adult Life (50+ years on a boat somewhere) and have covered several thousand miles of waterways in UK and Europe Inland and offshore craft
A former HGV technician and electro/mech fitter in marine industry.
Having rebuilt my current vessel about 20 years ago and having replaced the mechanical parts recently I still cruise the inland waterways during my retirement
My only ask is to subscribe to the channel it will cost you zero cash yes thats right absolutely nothing just a click of the button
