My daughter at 14 gave me a poem to tell me she was gay.. I thought it was adorable. Never ask her to explain it. I just love her..

I'm in the Uk and my parents wanted me to go see a doctor when I came out- they saw it as a sign of me being abnormally hormonal. My mum told me it was in my head. They refused to accept it. My grandparents haven't spoken to me in two years over it. Don't make assumptions on what it's like to be gay/lesbian- there isn't a universal experience.

Thats what we need to do. There should not be a mandatory tax that exists for one tv station. It's ridiculous,

Different art for different people. From what ur saying, this is equivalent to the USAs PBS stations public broadcasting system? We pay a tax. The federal government kicks in i think ten percent and then pledges pay more than half and then licensing deals for example Elmo and Barney that purple dinosaur. They make hundreds of millions from toys alone here so I'm not sure why they need help constantly to keep PBS on air. Is BBC this way as well?

I agree no one is born gay but sexuality develops during adolescence or puberty. I just have one question though. Do you choose who you fall in love with? Do you choose to have those sparks inside kiss someone or those butterflies when you see your crush? For me I don’t. I don’t believe it’s a choice to be gay because it would be so much easier if I were straight. But I do believe it’s a choice to be with who you want to be with.
