as much as I like the song choice variety, maybe get some guests w/ a more even playing field? I think nitro rad and shesez would fit better for game variety songs whereas scott and nathaniel could've done a nintendo focused one

Can you really blame Jon though? That was a trash opinion Nathaniel had. It’s such a disappointment.
@@TheLegoMaster261 Fully agreed, how can you come away from that game with anything other than an amazing experience and all-around good feels, fun and challenge? It rivals my love for DKC2, I can’t decide which one I love more, though I think Tropical Freeze is the more solid game, some later parts of 2 are frustratingly difficult.
I'm probably gonna get alot of hate for this. But I agree with Nathan. I don't like the modern DK games nearly as much as the old titles. Maybe it's because I hate the way DK controls and how physics works differently than the SNES ones, I like having to play other Kongs aside from just Donkey Kong, the lack of Animal Buddies was disappointing, the level designs felt obnoxious and goes on for too long, doesn't quite capture the charms as the old ones or whatever. I just didn't nearly have that much fun with the modern DK games as most people do.

@@buivars yes and no, Wuhu island with its final layout and name is from Resort, but an earlier iteration (titled "Wii Fit Island") did appear in the original Wii Fit. Both versions have a very similar layout, but there's a few key landmarks missing from Wii Fit Island.

Jon would definitely win. Nathaniel Bandy is my favorite CZcamsr but he really disappointed with his opinion on Donkey Kong Country. He didn’t even provide any reasons for his argument.

27:02 Jon, you should be consistent with your way of scoring there. If Mario Sunshine didn't count for the Mario 64 DS remix, then when playing the Generations remix, a contestant saying Unleashed shouldn't count either.
My suggestion is, that when someone says the game a remixed track is originally from, they get 1 point, but calling the game a _remix_ is from, grants 2 points.
Maybe you could also allow the opponent to name the "remix game" if someone only knew the OG game, but not the "remix game" itself? I hope this makes sense. =P

God I love this series so much! Absolute praise for the idea and length, it's like a small podcast I can listen to participate in and test my music knowledge, which is limited but makes me so happy to guess along with CZcamsrs I actively watch and listen to!
5:25 Shesez is correct, that was Halo 2, not 3. The track is called "Unforgotten" and first appeared in H2. A rendition of it also made it's way into H3 as "Never Forget" but that arrangement is a half step lower.
Finally, Shesez can break his boundaries of *_musical knowledge,_* while Nathaniel strives for -originality- a victory
Also, Jon's rap is the only good rap, it's even better than the DK Rap

Well, apparently FF7 wasn't the first first FF game, it was Mysctic Quest for the Snes but FF7 is the first main line game in europe.
Jet Set Radio Future was one of the only ones I got right away.
Fun fact, Mystic Quest was released pre 7, meaning Mystic Quest was technically, the first Final Fantasy game in Europe.

Seriously love these videos! That said, I STILL can’t believe you haven’t thrown an Undertale track in there-the soundtrack is SO diverse, there’s quite a lot of options if you’re trying to go for something less obvious than say Megalovania or Bonetrousle.
Some other suggestions are God of War (2018), Bubble Bobble, Yakuza 0, and Bioshock Infinite (it would be pretty fun to throw in one of the game’s crazy arrangements, like “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, haha)

Hey Jon! This series is a lot of fun! Man having to Hear the Hoodoo theme from Rayman 3 over and over without getting to the best part haha
I dont know if you take suggestions, so if this is out of place feel free to ignore it. I think it'd be fun and more dyamic if points were distributed in two factors: Guessing the track's game for 1 point and Guessing the track's situation in which is used (aka boss, stage, etc.) or name of the track (if it has one) for one extra point. So basically each question is now worth 2 points possibly and if, say, the first person who buzzed in knows the game the track belongs to but not its name or situation, then the other one can give it a try to take the extra point; if neither knows it then its just the first point and you move on.
Anyways this is a lot of fun to watch! Thank you!
