- Latest read was FMA. Here's my interpretation of the Brothers from the Manga using a Lamy pen and Winsor Newton brush.

From the publisher:
In an alchemical ritual gone wrong, Edward Elric lost his arm and his leg, and his brother Alphonse became nothing but a soul in a suit of armor. Equipped with mechanical “auto-mail” limbs, Edward becomes a state alchemist, seeking the one thing that can restore his and his brother’s bodies...the legendary Philosopher’s Stone.
Alchemy: the mystical power to alter the natural world; something between magic, art and science. When two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, dabbled in this power to grant their dearest wish, one of them lost an arm and a leg…and the other became nothing but a soul locked into a body of living steel. Now Edward is an agent of the government, a slave of the military-alchemical complex, using his unique powers to obey orders…even to kill. Except his powers aren't unique. The world has been ravaged by the abuse of alchemy. And in pursuit of the ultimate alchemical treasure, the Philosopher's Stone, their enemies are even more ruthless than they are…

These appreciation of great comics episodes have been killer! Keep ‘em coming. Love seeing your artistic interpretations of these classics too! Great stuff man!
I would recommend Uzumaki by Junji Ito. Great horror manga that really got into my head by the end.
never actually gotten around to reading/watching FMA, it's been on the to-do list for over a decade at this point haha
I've spent the time I could've read it in reading Hajime no Ippo instead and I feel like taking up boxing
Get a heavybag and have FMA in the background while you're getting jacked. Win-win.
Another book recommendation is Jojo’s bizarre adventure by Hirohika Araki , and it has sort of multiple separate stories called parts. Each part is quite different, recommend part 4, there are a lot overal, but if you want to see the development just go right on from part 1.
Man, you gotta check out Tatsuki Fujimoto's work, particularly Chainsaw Man (an ongoing series) and Look Back (a one-shot).
I'm all in on Chainsaw Man - will check out Look Back. Thanks!
@@Steininger_Art It's about two comic book artists, so it may resonate with you. His first (finished) series, Fire Punch, is also great.
