@@pangs3798 Heart attack(s), cancer and diabetes. Norm is reportedly doing well, but is still in the ICU. He has had major surgery to deal with the cancer and heart issues. He can use all the positive thoughts he can get!

Great group effort w/the spec check kid dynamo, behind the scenes on sound and camera the one and only Jen, and of course, the magic hands of Lemmo on that gorgeous 335. Norm, everyone is still pulling for you, hang in there. It’s a rough ride but you’ve got a lot of support out here.

Willing prayers for norm first of all, it was difficult seeing norm sending his message from hospital, but true things can be the realitys that hit us hardest. Keep your spirits up norm, you are a man that built this all from nothing, you have a strong spirit. As to the guitar, I am very impressed at the roar of those custom buckers and the overall tone they have created - the quintessential rounded 335 sound. I am always fascinated how they tune the design of these guitars and pickups to try to capture and recreate that sound from 1964 etc. It was a good year for gibson arguably the peak of tone from the newly patented pat number pickups. Eric Clapton seemed to be early to sense this and ended up making it better known to many. For me they have succeeded in bringing back a slice of that tone, then hand the guitar to lemmo.... I would like to thank pinkywerewolf for leaving the first comment on my channel about a song that was in tribute to bonamassa. I do not know if any of you have heard the song I have dedicated to Norm on my channel yet. It was partly inspired by norm and what is happening to people around me. It is called 'Song for the forgotten' (on Cross - e 4 'the Shoe must go on'). With such terrible things going on we must all united to support people who are going through such trials of faith. It is together we are strong. Think of those worse off and count the blessings you have in life. And don't be afraid to comment and have your say like pinkie werewolf about my music Someone out there it might help. Norm you are a fighter.You looked battered by what is happening, but keep your spirit strong. I have been recommending meditation and mindfulness as something that could help many people focus their spirit. Also CBD can have a therapeutic effect on those feeling strong emotions. My channel is designed as musical therapy, that I use myself. As a disabled man I spent years trying to find something therapeutic for my spirit and it eventually became 'the Cat with no teeth TM' Channel. If life doesn't give you what uou need you gotta make it yourself. If it helps me...try it maybe? Credit to Brandon and Michael for taking the helm in this difficult situation. Norm watching should be very proud. Lastly BTW I heard brandon accidentally sat on lemmos shades...spec's check...take care one and all from - the Cat.

That’s my favorite iteration of the ES-335. Bright red, wide neck, small block inlays. I can do without the artificial aging, but otherwise, that’s very cool. The only thing cooler would be an ES-355 with the same finish, no stereo or Varitone. So a 335 with 355 trim!😛Drool…

Anyone who owns one knows they are the Swiss Army Knife of electric guitars. I have a Memphis ‘63 Reissue VOS much like this one and it’s my desert island axe!

Why you only mention Clapton on es 335? Ritchie Blackmore was playing es 335 before 1970. They did a lot record's with es 335 before he started using Startocaster.

Great looking ES..I don't think the camera captures the true color (watermelon), I know this guitar looks better in person. Dig the nylon saddles and nut...the way to go!

Don't remember Clapton using reverb but have seen photos of him using fender stacks. Him turning Marshall's full blast and mic ing them created an organic midrange reverb of their own, but nothing Mickey Mouse like any reverb units used with amps turned up loud, IMO.

These are probably as good as an original… though most of the Clapton numbers were played and recorded on a Gibson sg.
I’m not sure what he used in the studio back then-I’ve seen pics of Eric in the studio with “The Fool” SG, both before and after the paint job-but he was using it when I saw Cream in San Francisco in ‘68.

I can't stand Brandon, and his shitty "spec check". He also mentions that THIS guitar has a 12" fretboard radius... Um, they all do, that's like stating that THIS Strat has 3 singlecoils (which he coincidentally also does). Dude has very limited knowledge, but Michael's even worse. Not a clue about specs most of the time.
