    What about internet cost and speed?

    • @nattm6553
      @nattm6553 Před 13 dny

      I pay about 15$ month for full speed unlimited 5g.. Even out in rural Thailand I get 4g pretty much everyware
      And. my condo has free wifi that seems to be 10 mbit

      Thank you for your comment! Yes, it’s incredible how Thailand offers some of the fastest internet speeds in the world, often surpassing global standards. In Thailand, you can get a full gigabit connection for as low as $15-20 per month, making it a fantastic option for those who need reliable, high-speed internet without breaking the bank

    Joe you forgot the "Horn Dog" factor. The only reason to live in Pattaya. LOL

    as a full time cyclist I really don't want to be breathing anything I dont have to be. coming in 2 weeks landing in BKK, gonna focus on pattaya tho due to affordable luxury housing. or at least I havent found anything anywhere near as nice for the same 4-5m baht in bkk. (or it is but its half the size). gotta figure out my insurance right now, would like to get some minor dental done and need to get full blood & hormone panel tested. not sure who or what is legitimate insurance or im better off spending 1000usd to get it all done no insurance...

    You believe or think there is a train going through pattaya? You will have to do better than that

    • @IndependentBlazers
      @IndependentBlazers  Před 22 dny +2

      Thanks for your comment! We appreciate you taking the time to write it. Yes, there is a train that goes through Pattaya, operated by the State Railway of Thailand (SRT). The train connects Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Pattaya Railway Station, and the journey typically takes around 2.5 to 3.5 hours. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a more scenic route.
      And in the future, things are going to get even better! There’s a high-speed train project in development that will link Bangkok to Pattaya and Rayong. This high-speed rail line is part of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) initiative, aiming to enhance connectivity and boost economic growth in the region. Once completed, it’s expected to cut travel time between Bangkok and Pattaya to just about 45 minutes, making it a faster and more convenient option for both locals and tourists.
      Thanks again for your input!

    I first came here to Visit Thailand to Party in 1998 I still have the Photographs of Pattaya and Bangkok of 1998 , i 'm sitting here at home ,in my village town 30 minutes outside of Nakhon Ratchasima/ aka Korat City Center , The 2nd largest city in Thailand , In One of Issan's States , Anytime i run across a Farang You Tube Channel and hear them. discussing thier perceptions of Thailand 🤣( But often in YT spiel associating The Country and Culture Thailand itself with ( Village Banglamung Pattaya Klang) or Nana , (Asoke's Soi Cowboy or other Western Patronized vice areas ) from a Westerners of U.K or USA origins and perceptiions and comparison often laughable with sterotypical blanket statements about the Thai People " absent of Critical truths in many Farangs videos (,Not all Expat YT channels ) but far too many .
    Sir Who Comes to "Thailand "seeking and looking for western Restuarants & " western Life similarities 🤣 ??"
    " Village Pattaya and The Vast Majority of the Surrounding villages " have become nothing more than a ( YT western commercialized Open Air Brothel ) near the bay
    Its Expats that have all of a sudden are inspired to start YT channles which in of itself No problem " Except when begins with false depictions and hidden false reasons why they live in Village Pratumnak , Village Chaiyapruek , Village Wongamat Village Naklua Village Na Jomtien " There is No such Place as North Pattaya " If you address any Envelope (sent to North Pattaya Your Package will not arrive. )
    ( My former Village Jomtien where My Company Once Owned My house on leased land Under the U.S. 1966 Treaty of Amity ) I sold my House and moved my Family 4 1/2 hrs North of Bangkok, To my Wifes family village in Issan for saftey reasons because of the Rapid deterioration in the quality of life with many bad faith actors began arriving for holiday and residency and rapid deterioration in the natural Enviroment because of The proliferation High rises have choked off the Cool breezy winds in Chonburi Pattaya , Also the Waters in the surrounding afore mentioend Villages Wongamat & Naklua included THE FISH DONT COME TO THAT SIDE OF THE BAY ANYMORE and If anyone Carelessly Often Swims in that Bay On that side of Koh Larn.
    I have a factual story to Share with Video on Sill my IPhone 6sPlus taken in YR 2013 🤣 of A Irish Fella.& his Thai wife who live in Hua Hin but that night came back by ferry to Pattaya for reminscence of how they met in 2002, They Met me and my Wife sitting on a bench Soi 3 Naklua Beach Rd near the Holiday Inn ,
    The event his reaction which proceded after he came out of that water 🤣His Wife begged him not to swim in Pattaya bay But he had a little much to Drink he was feeling Giddy and confident. The Water had that same Murky bluish green color it has til this very day and That nigh an unsual smell with a littel Trash i saw floating about Soi 7 or Soi 8 on the way up , When he came out sat down to dry off. (Lawd hammercy the way he began yelping and scratching) It was funny and not funny at the same time poor Fella he should've listened .
    All of this came and will exacerbate with more unfettered Over-developement When i first came to party in Pattaya 98' You could walk out 10 meters and see down into the water small fish swimming at your ankles The Fish don't come No more .Now its Just a commercialized CZcams promoted to western Menn Open Air Brothel whose Condo Bldgs many act as hotels . Not a representation or the Country Thailand nor Thai Culture and customs .

      Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed comment. We truly appreciate you sharing your insights and experiences with us. We wholeheartedly agree with your point that Thai culture extends far beyond the well-known areas like Nana, Asok, or Jomtien Beach Road in Pattaya. Having been in Thailand since the 1990s, we’ve had the privilege of immersing ourselves deeply in the country’s rich and diverse culture. Out of the 76 provinces, we’ve lived in or visited at least 50, from Roi Et, Loei, Bueng Kan, Chiang Khan, all the way to Hat Yai in the south and Pai in the north. So when we say we know Thailand, we mean it-we’re not just another group of foreigners passing through.
      The reason we focus on comparing Bangkok and Pattaya in our content is because these are the areas where the majority of foreigners, expats, and tourists spend their time. Our goal is to provide them with helpful insights and reach as many people as possible who are navigating these popular destinations. We also appreciate your memories of Pattaya from 1998; it’s true that much has changed since then. We, too, remember the Bangkok of the 90s, before the skyline was dominated by skyscrapers, when Sukhumvit Road was still largely undeveloped, with no BTS in sight, and elephants were a common sight in areas that are now bustling urban centers.
      We truly value your input and would love to invite you as a guest on our channel to share your experiences with our audience. If you haven’t already, please consider subscribing and sharing our channel with others who might find our content useful. Your support would mean a great deal to us. Thank you once again for engaging with us so thoughtfully.
