    watched like 7 different videos on this case, this was by far the best and most thorough video that answered all my questions. Love the content.

    Thanks for another great video. These are really gonna help me choose between the Y60 and Y40 in a few months.
    Also just want to say I love the content and quality of your videos. You've quickly become the first channel I search for whenever I wanna research something for my next build.

      You really need to stop forcing people into vertical gpu mount. Get rid of that and make this case 100$. I went the NZXT route because of that.

      @@epicmike3915 I like it but they should keep the riser but have vertical and horizontal mount options

      @@3dprintingkid709 Agreed. You should have the option. That's my issue.

    Just a heads up for people building. The NZXT Kraken 360s or Z73s allow for a rear fan in the build. I was able to put in AL120v2's in. A little tight, but it fit. Also, changing the bottom fan to a great static fan like a T30 or the new Lian Li P28 is a great thing to do. Also, a custom fan curve on your GPU will make a world of a difference with your GPU temps. Alot of these new GPUs like to leave the fans off till they start to warm up.

    I currently have a rear exhaust fan installed with my 360 radiator so I'm very happy with the build.

    Great video as usual.
    For the rear exhaust fan, I think depends on the 360 aio being used.
    I managed to fit a standard 120mm fan back there using arctic liquid freezer ii 360 aio.
    Worst case you could fit a slim 120mm fan too.

  • @HOMERUN1379
    @HOMERUN1379 Před rokem +3

    I love my Y60, I think both are an amazing deal as it comes with the gen 4 riser cable that goes for 50$ bucks by itself. Factoring that in it brings the cost down a lot and is well worth it in my opinion.

    love the case just built in one! one more thing to note is ram height if you are using the 360 aio on top. thanks for another great review! the rear fan fit in mine with the phanteks 360 mph aio. just fyi for those out there.

      Yep there are some cases where you can get that rear fan in. But in three out of four builds we couldn’t get it to fit and in the fourth we only got two screws. I did know that about the designer ☺️

    Hey Robey, I don’t know if you ever see this, but if you really think the rear fan have any affect on the temps you can just mount it outside on rear end.

  • @luisdi3462
    @luisdi3462 Před rokem +1

    I'm still going on this case, I like the size and looks, thought about the o11 dynamic evo but it's too big, I'm not an i7 or i9 user, so the unlocked i5's with a side 240mm or 280mm at the side will do, that's what I feel, also the vertical mount included is nice because the upright bracket I wanted on the o11 is like +80$
    PD: put the rear fan on the outside, no one will know

  • @shadowminor
    @shadowminor Před rokem

    You can fit a rear fan with the right 360 aio. Your Deepcool is 402 mm overall length. NZXT Kraken 360 aios are 394 mm overall length. The extra 8 mm allows most fans to fit. Though just barely. And maybe not the Lian LI uni v2 as those are thickboy fans.

  • @kamata93
    @kamata93 Před rokem

    Was split between this and the Fractal North. Eventually the Fractal North lost because the side panel was not a full glass. It had that stupid metal piece from the side which obstructed your hardware when looking into the case. Otherwise its handsdown a better case. Will buy the Hyte Y40 in the summer hopefully. Cant wait!

    Im Running an Arctic Freezer 240 AIO up top, with Lian Li SL infinity fans and I have a 3rd SlL infinity fan on the rear and it fits no problem. I wonder if the Deepcool lt 720 with the SL infinity fans would allow a rear fan? According to the Video it is not possible with the Lian li SL v2 fans.

  • @keithmarcus8638
    @keithmarcus8638 Před 3 měsíci

    At 150 it's just a tad bit too expensive. 99 dollar cases can beat this without question if you're doing normal builds. But for homelabbers, being able to still fit half-height cards alongside 3-slot GPUs is a pretty big feature. I hope other case manufacturers copy this, so I would have more options

    I have this case myself. Some of the videos I’ve seen seemed a little unfair to the case. Two fans no extra fans, no water cooling when that’s what’s suggested to use. I have a 360 aio and a total of 6 fans 3 on the aio 2 in the front and the bottom one. I lost the back one due to the radiator.

  • @ncjsgrki

    @clanstringing8019 Před rokem

    Unfortunate that with a 360 rad on the top and Lian Li SL 120 V2 fans the rear fan doesn’t really fit. I had to lower it and just use the two top screws

    • @shadowminor
      @shadowminor Před rokem

      The V2s are definitely thickboy fans. I am looking to use the CoolerMaster MasterLiquid PL360 FLUX aio because it has a overall length of 394mm vs the 402mm of the DeepCool LT720 he had in this build. I do wish they had checked more aios when designing to account for this variability. I have found some 360 aios with an overall of 404mm. One centimeter doesn't sound like much but with the config this case has it is big.
