Also with this song, WWE’s Jim Johnston is a co-writer (he gave Finger Eleven the basic melody, and the band took it to the next level and wrote all lyrics). Unfortunately it’s more likely that Vince just doesn’t want him to use it anymore. WWE has weird ideas about their audience sometimes.. it’s like when Sheamus was told that his old theme was “dated” even though he told WWE he wanted to keep using it and people ask him about it all the time.
He's currently the Mayor of Knox County, TN. That might be a big part of it. I'm saying it right now, When he finally really retires, it better be at Wrestlemania, and these guys better be there playing it live.

Back when I was 16 in late 07 early 08 I got into running for the first time, used to put this on my mp3 all the time to keep me fired up. Still reminds me of 6-mile midnight runs in the rain even now.
