@@roseannamanues2111 Sadly the whole original lineup of the band has a huge ego problem, and have treated each other poorly. Money, fame and enlarged egos are just toxic in a lot of situations. It's like they forget about the fans and why they made music in the first place. I think Arnell has done a great job as front man and had so many people making crap comments over the years about how he wasn't as good as Steve. He is every bit as good, and the band isn't treating him right now either. I would love it if Miley did more Journey covers! I'm here for it. My connection to Journey stems from childhood, and my late brother loved them. It's hard not to tear up listening to their music sometimes.

I only love it cause of how I would watch the music video and dance with my eldest cousin who passed away in 2002. She video recorded many music videos for my siblings and I. She even recorded the one that was playing at the hospital while I was being born. My dad just spelled it differently. It's funny when many don't know that Patrick Swayze and Cathy Rhodes are both in the music video. Before they did Dirty Dancing.

This is one of my favorite tunes by Journey , so naturally I'm gonna be a little critical of anyone trying to represent. Miley gave this tune a heartfelt run and did a great job. The intimate vibes she put in her phrasing was moving.
Lorrie Morgan did a much better job on this cover, many years ago.

I listened to Lorrie's version , and I LOVE Lorrie , but Miley did it better in my opinion. Lorrie couldn't or didn't hit the hard part at the end and def didn't give it as much " feeling " as Miley. She did do a nice job on it tho. THX 4 checkin' in.@@justbreathe3463
