I’m currently learning this track, takes awhile to learn the lay out, even longer to be fast
What I did was use adaptive reset and learned it in sections then it was easier to do the complete track after.
It took me so much crashing and lapping and Im only at 8:18 😭
I think I’m gonna watch this lap a good amount of times before the 24 hours in less than 2 months
So impressive. Fixed setup aswell. You just carry so much more speed than what I can do. All in the confidence.
Also check the brake and throttle inputs. Tail braking into the corner and getting onto it on the apex helps a lot with the rotation thanks to a "highish" differential.
So beeing on throttle in the corner is really important in the Porsche Cup.

OMG good lap! The fastest I could do in the race of fixed was 08:04 And I thought I knew my way around the track!!! The combo is really great tho, but to be honest I still like the old Porsche Cup better ( it also got improved with the tires in last update)
@Chazza They did update it and while it has stiffer suspension and less grip I find it reacts better to driver inputs as it is more willing to rotate. Together with a mate of mine we did a comparison around Nordschleife and we could do pretty similar pastimes with both using the base setups.

I just purchased this track today so I am watching some professionals doing it, on FORZA a simcade game I remember my best lap around here being a 8:30.125 8minutes and 30 seconds lap forget what car thought.

You SHOULD! If you have the desire JUMP IN its totally worth it! I started with a Logitech Momo in 2004 and a G920 in 2019. Now im in a full rig with a CSL DD! SO FUN!
@@BadWallaby yeah i’ve done it once before.. i had a blast doing it, but my room isent big enough for a rig nor do i have enough money. i wanna get a desk one where you can remove the wheel once your done and the peddles would stay but i don’t have the computer

Right there on the dash -5.99 which is 4 clicks to the rear (from default) on this setup

How can you brake later and harder than me, especially on cold tyres yet dont lock your wheels... whats your secret??

@@vx220ukct It's a hotlap, I'm not sure if they are that cold
@@T.F.Invest yea, its a hot lap, it doesn’t mean the cars up to temp.. it’s an early lap of the server, where everything is still cold. The tyres are cold you can see the psi on the dash, and unless he has done some brake dragging which isn’t allowed, the brakes will also be cold.. he will of started 1/2 way down the straight judging by the psi as he crosses the line.
Brake Bias probably. Default was set to 45% if I'm not mistaken. He's running with 44%.
Also steering lock and car balance is hugely important on how much brake pressure your tires can translate.
