Surprisingly fast on 4s for it's size. And I love how quiet and smooth it is. I don't have a redcat, but I'm rooting for them to turn this around. I think this one could be a hit
So true people donât have a clue especially when you break out the Fireteam or Mojave people either watch & smile or get mad but they all know to stay out the Way!

Check your tie rods to see there in proper. Then use it . There is videos of people jumping it without problems. You have nothing to lose. There's been plenty of rc's with problems but people just deal with it . Redcat is doing the right thing

I am so glad you made lemons out of potential lemonade! I felt your disappointment on the reception of that vehicle. Brought back memories of waiting on T@wer H@bbies back in the day and they sent the wrong product and i'm down for another week. Good stuff JayTee. does not seem as front biased as the shredder. i will be curious to see what happens in the next few months with it my shredder is almost clapped out lmao. i would pull the trigger now and order the 6s. but just pre ordered the rlaarlo ak917 tonight. does red cat do retail boxes ive only seen them for the gen 8 crawler and maybe a drifter my shredder came in a plain brown box lol. i would agree with keeping it and giving redcat a chance to make it right. as far as im concerned they did right by the consumer by giving options for either a full refund or keep it and they will send out parts. i feel like most people are stuck on traxxas which dont get me wrong traxxas makes good products. but they do not come with out flaws either and you pay the premium. i feel like redcat is like harbor freight started out making useable junk but built up from there and make both useable junk and some good cars. i would have no issue purchasing a machete if i had the extra funds right now lol.

@JayTee Rc what size is the Lug pattern. I was planning on changing the shocks and putting on some bigger tires to raise it a little to bash.

They're supposed to update and fix the problems and then re-release the vehicle in about a month
I was actually pretty surprised about how much power it seems to have on 6S. I think we've all just become so used to ridiculous over the top power that it's hard to remember we all used to bash with a lot less power not that long ago and still had plenty of fun.
By the way I'm not sure what I was thinking when we were on the live stream but I checked in my car also came in a brown box. It does have labeling on it but it was not a full retail package. I think I must have had it confused with a different vehicle I unboxed at around the same time. Sorry for the misinformation.

I would want the 6s, but I prefer the red body. What pinion size is in it now? And what would you gear it up to?

I'd send it back. If you can't jump it or bash it why have it. Buy it again after they revise all the problems. Guy already has enough designated on road Rig.
Glad youâre keeping it. Redcat works stuff out. Be nice if they did it PRIOR to release, but đ€·đŒââïžđ.
Love how cops always cruise up. Friends start thinking theyâre going to say leave. The ALWAYS just want to check em out. Lol. Folks freakin out about the dang police. And this coming from a recovering alcoholic thatâs had quite a few incidents with em. They like their toys!
Between the upper arms and center driveshafts already failing, that says every bit of that car is made with inferior products. And they didn't test them obviously. I used to root for Redcat, they do some cool stuff, but it's all shit.
