Discovered the band via Whitesnake (the Micky Moody connection) - great band and albums. Can fully understand why David Coverdale wanted Micky to work with him (and later keyboardist Pete Soliey too). Now thanks to you, I am going to listen to Freedom which I have never heard before. With my favourite band being Deep Purple, if you start to branch out and listen to the music of whoever was related to band, you end up with so much interesting and varied stuff. Thanks Phil 😃
When I saw the thumbnail for this video I went and watched their OGWT performance, first part from the Marquee, second in the BBC studios, and they blew my socks off. Again, another band from the 70s I'd never heard of, so I'll be getting this box set, so, thanks Phil for bringing them to my attention (I'll watch the Freedom review as well).

Great review. This is the first I've heard of this band, so I checked out some of their music on CZcams and they are quite a very good band. Not too far removed from Trapeze in overall style to my ears. Take care!🎸
Looks like another must buy Phil. I remember the bands third album being advertised on Capital Radio in 1974 but they then just vanished. This is a good set as the individual albums seem hard to source and are expensive. The three album run shows that back then the record labels were prepared to give a band a decent run at success unlike recent times.

I first heard Snafu on the Friday Rock Show broadcast of the 75 session. I bought Situation Normal on cassette for 99p from Woolies, then all the albums on vinyl, then on CD. All Funked Up is great. Love me some Micky Moody. I won't be buying the box, I don't think, it cost me more to buy what I've got already, though it's well worth it to a newbie.

loved this band caught them twice i think at Birmingham town hall first time as a support act but cannot for the life of me recall who they supported
