Awesome video, helped me out with a lot, one thing I did wanna say, you can also do image sequencing in photoshop, you can also take that image sequence and feed it back into photoshop to re create the video, but props to showing fee alternatives!

Im upscaling low res imiges from 3D renders and its working great.
I have good PC with 4070 so it takes seconds to have 2k or 4K res image.
It has some AI bugs but generaly its great consider its free.
Where do you get the PNG Export option in Davinci Resolve? I don't have that option in the render format drop down menu.
The best i've ever tested. Just wait for some big players will buy their algo :D

It's not magic for sure. In my experience it works well on images that have decent detail already and you just want to upscale them a bit. But if its a blurry/grainy image it won't "add" detail like some of the paid/popular programs.

Does anyone else find it strange that double upscayl always results in 16X. To me it should be double what resolution you choose, for example if set to 4X double upscayl should convert to 8X. Is there any way to get 8X then?

Upscayl Not working in my windows 10 pc Showing --- DECODING ERROR: vkCreateInstance failed -9 . Additional Info: This image is possibly corrupt or not supported by Upscayl, or your GPU drivers are acting funny (PLEASE READ THE UPSCAYL WIKI). You could try converting the image into another format and upscaling again. Also make sure that the output path is correct and you have the proper write permissions for the directory. If not, then unfortunately there's not much we can do to help, sorry.
