Thanks. Very good tip! Helped me develop my own solution. Instead of using a hot glue gun, use rubber glue/adhesive. Then you only need to remove 2 screws on the motherboard and lift it up with a spacer. Then there is plenty of room to work and apply the glue. AND you save a TON of time since you do not have to disconnect ALL the connections from the motherboard. MUCH EASIER! Thanks that I was able to build on your idea.
hello i have Ideapad 300 series with shorted power button do you have any schematics to check which one is shorted ? Also what kind of screwdriver did u you, is it available on Amazon ?
