Tragedy of the Gold Ring!

Last fall I found a gold ring while metal detecting at the scout camp with my XP Deus ll. Anytime one finds a gold ring it’s special but this one held a beautiful aquamarine stone and it perfectly fit Mrs History Digger’s finger. Unfortunately tragedy struck when one day the stone fell out of the setting and was nowhere to be found.
What to do? Sell the ring as is, have it melted down? I decided to see if it could be repaired? Could the tragedy be turned back into treasure. Give the video a watch to find out!

Beautiful ring, HD. What a great find. My I’ve lost the diamond out of her engagement ring about 35 years ago. Found it on the floor of our 1986 Merc Sable. Same problem, worn prongs on the mount. She still has it today hanging on a necklace. HH, HD! 😎
