It may be just me, but the way he pointed at Joy and the look on his face afterwards (10:13-10:25), he seemed clearly annoyed with her. It reminded me of my dad putting me in my place as a child, letting me know he was not having it. I think he let it slide with her insulting his friend with the anti-vaxxer comment at the very beginning of the interview, but he shut it down the second time she pulled her divisive talk.
He is so well-spoken, and it’s really heart-warming to see a Hollywood star actually give back to the communities who need it most.
He didn't sink to there level, handled it with grace.
His eyes told me he just surpressed a great deal of rage dealing with her. LOL

It's so beautiful to see a man grow into his grace and wisdom because he has such a good relationship with his incredibly amazing wife. They are clearly really good for each other. I'll have to find out what platforms she's on because I'd love to hear her view on a lot of things. I'm so thankful to all but one of the hosts on this interview who were genuinely enjoying Matthews' gifts to society. If Joy was having an off day I hope she feels better soon.

I am a democrat (not a progressive, woke liberal) and I hate when people who disagree with republicans, people who voted for Trump, deem them as ignorant and stupid. What people don’t try to understand is why are they voting for Donald Trump etc. People just want their basic needs met… 1. Security 2. Financial Security 3. Ability to earn $$ and provide for themselves and family etc. If we listen without judgement to the why… we can all benefit and maybe be more inclusive in policies. I am not going to sit here and say only democrats have the answer… I like to listen to others and ask them why. I have a lot of friends who voted for Trump and I ask them questions and try to understand. I have never gotten into a fight with them because I respect them and value their opinion. I think I can grow more by having conversations from people who are different from me. I wish people from different views can do that always. I know it’s difficult but what Joy Behar did was to try to demonize Texans and put words into his mouth… I applaud him.

Just want to comment on Joy’s remark about Djokovic being an anti-Vaxxer. He chose not to get vaccinated, he lives by a very strict nutritional regimen and as a professional athlete decided not to have the vaccination. His choice. He, however, did not say other people shouldn’t get vaccinated. So to label him in that way is unfair I think. He’s specifically said he’s never told people to not get vaccinated, as it’s their choice, as it is his to not get vaccinated. I don’t agree with him but I’m certainly not gonna hate him for it.

I think the problem is less of he has chosen not to be vaccinated than knowingly that he has covid but still choose to attend a number of public events, even one where's there is children around.
