The Osteowings of the Necrolords makes me think of that Skeletal Gryphon mount from Death Knights.
I'm more casual of a player, and even I think it's neat that the color matching gear is unlocked from the mythic raid. It makes a full set actually hold some level of prestige instead of "đ oh great another full set andy"

11:20 I donât think blizzard knows what stirrups (leg thingyâs) are for.
They really need to just give the barefeet/hoof races the OPTION to use boots.
My UnHoly Dk will be necro, even though the Dps will be higher on Venthyr and Night faye, its just me as a Unholy DK 100% i wont change no matter how much i get pushed in guild.
Going Necrolord for the Riptide interaction in Resto Shaman, but now I actually like quite a few of the rewards including Jiggles, the illusion and mount!

Do you know if the covenant mounts are character locked or account bound?
I wish Blizzard decided to do a thing with the covenant mounts where once you unlock the standard mount for your covenant
you could then do specific things in PvP for a different styled version and then another style for doing Dungeons/raiding +the one at the end. Just my thought.
also the armor colors not matching is hopefully a bug, im never going to get into a mythic raid, im too much of a casual

The last mount from the Necrolords looks really good but since the only mount I actually want to get is Blanchy, I'm still going Venthyr because in my opinion, all its cloth sets are awesome

sadly Locks going Venth or Necro will nerf themselves, as best DPS covenant for warlocks is currently Kyrian :(

Does the Bone Wings meddle with the Demon Hunter wings? I'm worried it'll look odd.
The rewards are amazing and the unyielding spirit fits the Warrior... but itâs so dark and Iâm sick of scourge mushrooms and buildings lol so I donât know if Iâd want to have my main do them for the first time

Are the covenant transmogrification, mounts, titles, and pet rewards locked to characters part of that covenant or is it account-wide similar to nearly every other of their classification?

So, for all covenants, ~30 of the renown rewards are generally uninteresting and 10 are pretty cool.

I have a problem. Iâm a Death Knight and I want most Necrolord stuff like the beast walking mount and the drake flying mount, plus I like the Necrolords armour. BUT I want the Venthyre Tombstone on my back plus maybe the Venthyre mount. What do I do ?
I still dont understand unlocking gear at a certian renown. They already gave it to us through the campaign
Are the set transmog account wide?
I would say yes. Transmogs seem to be linked to the accounts, not the character. However, trans mogs can have level restrictions.
WoWHead lists another Back Transmog for the Wings called [Regrown Osteowings] but doesnt say how to get them. A friend of mine swears he saw somebody have them already but there is no hint on where and how. It would be obvious that they are from a drop or secret event but i could find any clue on them. Anybody got an idea? P.S. One of the Back Crystal drops of an rare Elite aswell in Maldraxxus.

The worst of the necrolord armor cosmetic sets is the leather. Just a bunch of wtf's??? best is plate followed by mail then cloth. IMO

Does the back pieces still makes the weapons stored on the back disappear ? Because i really think this is soooooo bad.. if legit 50% on the weapons that any classes can use just disappear just because you have a 3d back piece is really frustrating and makes them a lot less attractive to a player that really love tmog..
Just one question, I have not researched enough because I want a fresh experience in shadowlands so I have not checked so much info, but is Renown a permanent system, Like it will be the same progression in the beginning of shadowlands and the same in the end of shadowlands or will it be seasonally, because if so I will be really pissed of by blizzard. I really hope its permanent not seasonally
The first tier of the back is a shovel I think..fits the fantasy well..just not super appealing.

Kyrian is BiS for lock DPS sadly. They couldn't match aesthetics with abilities apparently.

well we sure have opposite opinions about the coolest sets, i find the necrolord leather set probably the ugliest of all the covenant sets combined. The only thing i like about it is the chest and gloves

I love everything Necrolord, but my one and only gripe is the title, it's a bit underwelming for the leader or what ever of the undead army who's supposed to protect the afterlife. Other than that, Necrolords are perfect!!

they really just need to add COLOR DYE already... i get that the old items are hard to code for color dye.. but moving forward in the future why not just introduce it to the new items going forward. cause i do hate that the weapon colors dont match the armor...

Not gonna lie, I am not a huge fan of necrolord only because I play mistweaver and night fae or venthyr fit my fantasy a bit better. But apparently necrolord for mistweaver is more ideal since the healing is better. So sad :c

@@pitjesgv not like all long ears with helmets, capes with weapons on the back AND some on the waist, some shoulder pads, mounts and all are already doing it and doesnât bother anyone... for real i got the Tauren heritage armor on a warrior and its look amazing and all but a warrior without weapons really looks dumb af imo.. so yeah I MUCH prefer clipping.. I rock the 8.3 backpack on my rogue with a sword on my back and it looks amazing even if the weapon literally goes all the way through the backpack
