This whole remix thing is the best idea blizz had in ages, it's like a Diablo season basically which you can use to experience things you missed without the chore of grinding everything on retail. In just a few days i was able to get mounts in MOP i've always wanted without actually wasting time farming them. I hope they'll do this for every expansion.

Plunderstorm or whatever it was called was really cool to, I just wish I finished it and got all the transmog. (Didn't think I'd return to wow but here I am lol) They've been killing it with these events so far, I'm very excited to see what's next!

I'll miss being an overpowered demigod ravaging through dungeons within mere minutes. It was fun whilst it lasted. If they do an event like this for the future with any other expansion, I'm all for it!
I joined too late to fully get that experience (I've seen people with like 100% speed boost), but I did get strong enough that I could clear dungeons and raid bosses solo as if I were almost two expansions-worth of levels higher. I wanted to take down Oondasta since I kept putting it off, so I just flew off the Isle of Giants 15 minutes before the servers closed, soloed Oondasta since no one was there, and then had enough time to get back and buy one last cosmetic I hadn't yet earned before logging off my timerunner for good (at least, the last time they would be a timerunner, that is).
They should put some kind of outro quest for the time runner character. Something like that timeline starts imploding because of all the infinite Dragonflight manipulation and Chromie pulls you out at the last second. Maybe you get to keep some grey item as a souvenir.
I love the remix idea. I hope this happens again with other expansions. It is absolutely amazing and one of the best ideas they’ve had in a very very, very long time. I love it. I hope it comes back and I’m gonna miss it.
Remix was a god send. I built a literal army in a week. 4 druids and one of each class in the game. I've been playing for years. I'm so glad that I've had the opportunity to just boost everything. So that if I need to I can just grab whatever spec I want and roll with it.
I didn't have enough time to level all the alts I could ever want, but I was able to level several characters so I could get their race's heritage sets for when they convert over. I knew there was no chance in hell I was going to play a Dark Iron Dwarf or a Mechagnome in retail, as the time it would take to level would just be too long and I'd rather do other things, but now I've got two level 70 versions of those characters I can play whenever I wish and focus less on the grind. Plus all the other level 70 alts for the event that I got (about 4 or 5 others, I think). It was a good way to learn what specs and classes you like, too. I've learned that I do not in any way give a shit about tanking. Something I had forgotten since back in Cata when I made my boosted Protection Paladin (I used to get a bit stressed out playing him in dungeons because it only takes one dickhead to ruin the experience) and later MoP where I used him some more. It wasn't until Legion that I dropped the spec from him and just played Retribution and had way more fun. Same thing for Warriors, I enjoyed playing as an Orc Arms Warrior, but the whole experience felt like a drag when I played my Human Protection Warrior. Though I did like the whole Orgrimmar/Stormwind aesthetic options they both had and I wouldn't mind playing tanks in solo content like I used to with my Protection Paladin, so I won't completely abandon them, I'm sure.
I don't understand why we can't keep the bags. We already had 36 slot bags in the game from Diablo and Hearthstone events. Tailors will be making 36 slot bag in TWW.
I loved remix, I made a level 20 monk twink in remix from my starter account, and carried and leveled every single class to 70 when back then I only had 2 classes at 70 in like 1 hour of running heroic dungeons! With the free bronze you get from hitting level 70, I bought every mount, transmogs, and toys.
Honestly, I enjoyed the MoP: Remix far more then I ever thought I would. It was a fun experience and I hope they do more remixes of the other expansions in the future!
I have enjoyed the Remix event. Although I really enjoyed leveling toons screaming fast I don't think it is something they will do often, as in less than 30 days I have added 11 max level toons to my list. It was a great way for people with limited time to power up to 70 to be ready for the War Within. I did enjoy it. (If they should do it again...... Litch King!)
They should, though. It's an easy way to let players get ready for the new expansion, experience old content with an active userbase, and it's satisfying for the player as they get to earn a ton of cool transmog rewards. There is no downside for the game. Even if you've already made every alt you could ever want, the power boost of the event means you're going to want to make a new character to play the event and have fun breaking the expansion as you get more and more powerful. It should be a staple of the game at this point, as a way to prepare for new expansions. It's certainly more interesting than any pre-patch event we've ever had.
@@Scuuurbs Any of the Remix Tmog you haven't bought yet. If you have already bought EVERYTHING that you can purchase with Bronze, then don't worry about it. Or sell the gear for gold since the gold carries over.

I was right to just farm the t-mog, pets and mounts and not care about the ilv, I had friends who kept grinding thinking their character would start with a better gear on retail lmao, fools, we all get the same armor and they all farmed for nothing xd
Eaxtly! I didnt bother purchasing every set of tmog or toys because there are some that i didnt want, so instead i invested that bronze into gear just to have fun and get into groups. It was fun watching huge numbers and witnessing raid bosses explode with pressing just 1 or 2 buttons..
I'm going to be sad when the event is over. I had so much fun with speed leveling an alt army, destroying mobs and raid bosses with ease, and having fast movement speed. Collecting everything was very relaxing compared to what it normally is. Dragonflight was daunting. Every time I started to get the hang of things, another patch would come out.
Just know that not much changes from patch to patch. Once you know where you're going. You pick it all up pretty quickly. I remember being new back in 2008 and feeling the exact same way. I hopped onto dragon flight two weeks ago after dropping retail about 6 months before it came out. In a day or two I'd already figured it out. It's just a matter of familiarity with the games tropes is all.
Every new expansion, my characters go through a dramatic personality and intellectual change. They suffer from brain damage and seem incapable of fighting the way they used to. I remember when my Arcane Mage was a complete and total pushover many many expansions back. I couldn't solo story content anymore to get geared up and it was just exhausting. I think it was a similar experience when I started off in BfA since I wasn't geared from any prepatch events. I had to stop and heal after every basic mob until I started to get more powerful, although part of the problem with Arcane has always been resource management. You run out of mana so easily because if you expend the power-buffing charges that also increase mana cost, you're doing a sad pittance of damage against enemies and it's rather annoying. Better to take a few seconds to eat some food and regenerate mana after a fight than to spend forever in a fight you might die in because you're a glass cannon (with virtually no cannon).
Im not surprised, the bags in remix were too good to be true and should know that Blizzard cant be _too_ generous with things. Players might start to enjoy themselves beyond what Blizzard allows.

Bag space is such a pointless concept to me. Just have our bag space level with our characters. It's not a major irritation or anything, but sometimes I forget I haven't upgraded my bag space and have to blow gold on it and I just don't see why it has to be a thing.

I couldn't figure out the plunderstorm thing, so I let a week go by before trying remix, and loved it, especially the mounts. The most fun I've ever had on WoW.
Nah, they just needed to make it an optional toggle. You can convert seasonal characters in other games when you want. I'm sure they'll stop dragging their feet and eventually offer that option to players in future remixes, but sadly it may be a while.
@@PlantTube. Well kinda, but it was artifact power mostly.. Baseline classes during Legion were not that strong. That is a good thing actually and if they decide to do a legion remix it would be super fun without spiraling out of controll so fast if they limit or completely remove artifact grind.
Great video. I have a hundred thousand unspent bronze on one character because I didn't buy a lot of stuff. Does all that bronze disappear without having a vendor to spend it on if I don't spend it by the 19th?
I'll do literally any remix when it comes out, even Classic/Vanilla, particularly if they include the same quality of new, cool cosmetic rewards like they did with MoP remix. A chance to earn all of those old armor sets without a boring every-week grind? Yes, please. I can't tell you how many times I fought Onyxia solo on my Paladin trying to get that damned Judgement helmet that would never drop. I would alternate between Onyxia and Nefarian over and over for months, sometimes not bothering for the week because I didn't want to make the long trek to her lair from Orgrimmar, until I finally got it. I didn't play my character much after getting it and honestly I probably shouldn't have bothered even though I kept it equipped until this past week, because the minute I logged into him for the first time in a long time, I just set him to the Legion PvP set I used during that expansion that matches Ashbringer perfectly. Probably my favorite Paladin set in the game. Looks ridiculously good on a belf.
@@Lucifronz Exactly! completely agree. Remix reminded me THIS IS A GAME, and its ok to NOT compete all the time and just enjoy even flying arround. Imagine getting all those rewards lost in time. I have a few but unfortunately they got lost when they implemented the transmog system... sad thing they never fixed it. So i wouldnt mind a vanilla remix for sure. And yeah belfs look so good any armor looks pretty cool.
I was holding onto all my rep tokens from the warbringers and scouts to send to my main and delete my Timerunner. Will those count as "unlearned items" like the ensembles? (I leveled toons I already have multiples of and don't plan on keeping any timerunners.)
MoP Remix made so much fun BUT they should give us a bit of gold for all the bronze etc. we've. Not much but a ratio like maybe 1.000 or 10.000 gold per 100.000 bronze. Because you could barely made gold in MoP Remix and tbh I could need some gold. :D But if you get 2k gold per character on level 70 that's cool aswell. I leveled like 40 chars so 80k gold.
The bars getting reset happens whenever you boost a character or do the gear update when you haven't played in a while. It makes me so mad. I have my abilities set up and keybinds and it jumbles everything up, destroying your organization and the work you put in. So you have to waste time fixing it. I'm not happy to hear that they're going to do this again, it's bad enough that I have to customize all my settings every time I roll a new toon. Every one gets set up the same exact way, they should actually save my settings.
Heh, how'd you manage to complete all the 10 parts of the questline? I still have two that won't complete even though I've done all the end things 5 times now.
I loved remix, but lost about 3 weeks to a hurricane and tons of errors after patches that "the new team" tech support wouldn't help with (told me to figure it out myself .. the game was kicking me every 10 seconds, even though I researched and did all the fixes myself). Anyway, my question is, I know my hard earned gear will be gone, but, do we get to keep all of the appearances of that gear? I got so many incredible guns and bows, I want to be able to use those appearances again. And some identical items had different colors. I screen shotted everything lol. I mean, if they are letting folks buy and keep mounts it took me over a DECADE of farming, we should get to keep our gear appearances, yes??
Well that was a silly plan. You were never going to get to keep that kind of power. It literally broke the game at several points. I had to wait like 10 minutes for an animation to finish because the first boss of the Shado-Pan Monastery glitched after the serpent was killed before he could start to be charged up. That's how broken you can get.
i literally just rushed 4 characters to level 70 in 9 hour. i probably would have never gotten them to max level with out remix.... it was also really fun spamming heriocs as fast as possible some would be done ine less than 2 minuets.
I was a little disappointed that they took our bags, and health pots. I don't think either of those would have impacted the game play for any other toons, except being able to mail/warband the health pots would have been nice for other toons when they hit 50+ in the future. I am sure that TWW will have bigger pots, but it would have been good to have SOME on this toon with out having to hit my alch up. also, not sure why they ported us back to the capital cities. the shrines are still actively accessible. by any toon. that is not a big deal, but just a curiosity.
months of work and all i get is 467 greens? its a joke. I was hoping for 528 ilvl greens so atleast its only slightly worse than our main that have set bonus and proper trinket and enchants
all the bloated stats will be normalized, it was fun being OP but we're returning to the present and such cant remain bloated. going into TWW with 7 Mil HP for example would've been unholy busted.
Yeah that’s gonna be the roughest part. Our remix toons weren’t just strong, they were fast and had amazing cast times. It’s going to feel like we’re playing with a sack of bricks afterwards 😢😂
@@UltimateGamerCC I had a good time on the journey to become stupidly powerful on my new Monk. 231% Mastery 103% Vers 100% Haste 106% Crit Dragon Kick couldn't even get used because Rising Sun Kick and Fists Of Fury were off cd with one channel. I hope Wrath gets a Time Running event, so that maybe just maybe we can finally get that fucking horse. Like the other MoP mounts.
Are you getting the 467iLvl gear regardless if you even have any gear at all or even if you upgraded all items to max with bronze? I'm just thinking if it's worth to scrap all your gear for bronze on the last day just to grab any ensembles you might have not collected by then.
After the event ends your character turns into a basic boosted character, as if you just bought the lvl 70 boost from store. But the only difference is that you get to keep your gold and reputations. Everything else like your bags and gear is now basic boosted package. Hope this helps.
Seeing Chen's hat in the thumbnail got me salty. I got the Kun-Lai Summit achievements done, but didn't receive it. Sent out a ticket to Blizzard about it, but they couldn't do anything about it. They said this wasn't a common issue and to reset my UI and turn off all addons. Did that, nothing. THEN when it's a week left I get a new response saying there are other players experiencing the same thing, and that the devs were working on a fix for it. I still don't have that hat...
they're combating gold bloat, they aint gonna want to add to said bloat. lol but i do agree that we should have been able to keep our Leggos and just have them normalize to 512 or something. keeping the Cloak would have been busted though.
Intresting that all the quests are flagged as completed in pandaria. What about all the mogs from quest rewards? Do you get then too? You obs don't get them in remix as you don't get the items

I dusted off a bunch of toons this past week and took them through the Radiant Echos they will have better gear then my remix toons I've been playing and working on for months. I knew the runes, and gems were going away but we should have at least kept the 476 iLvL we earned
I feel like I should be able to keep all my gear I got while doing remix Its all max level purple gear that I spent a lot of time getting so what was the point if I am being put back down to basic level? Theirs no reason why we all can't keep the gear we got.
Do you know if the bags in your bank slots carry over? If so, I would imagine it would be advantageous to buy the bags and bank slots before Pandaria ends.

It's a bit disappointing to not have some finale quest to have you port back to main timeline, the cherry on top experience

I just want to keep the 36-slot bags. Don't care about the gold or gear as we can easily get better in the days before expac launch.

I quadrupled my number of 70's. I now have at least one toon of every race and 2 toons of each class. One Alliance and one Horde.
I did this too! Only I have a Dracthyr on every server at max level and only a couple druids 😂
Hope they clear the mailboxes too, wouldnt want to have people level 80 instantly with many bonus xp tokens!

The action bar wiping has been driving me insane... I picked the "gear up" or whatever option for my Shadowlands/BFA alts and it wiped everything.....

Fun time, would love them to do it again, but with less of a grind for the weapons. As a collector, it’s been frustrating.
The thing that's been irritating me is locking stuff behind Achvements that requires me to do a Campaign. Looking at you Landfall.
Before remix ends, log onto all your toons, get naked, destroy all that stuff for bronze, and spend it all. Just a tip.

Better to take a few seconds to eat some food and regenerate mana after a fight than to spend forever in a fight you might die in because you're a glass cannon (with virtually no cannon).

Im not surprised, the bags in remix were too good to be true and should know that Blizzard cant be _too_ generous with things. Players might start to enjoy themselves beyond what Blizzard allows.

Bag space is such a pointless concept to me. Just have our bag space level with our characters. It's not a major irritation or anything, but sometimes I forget I haven't upgraded my bag space and have to blow gold on it and I just don't see why it has to be a thing.
Remix was fun. Looking forward to doing another remix event with a previous expansion down the line.

I couldn't figure out the plunderstorm thing, so I let a week go by before trying remix, and loved it, especially the mounts. The most fun I've ever had on WoW.

Remix was awesome but characters should have been released at the start of the Prepatch event imo. Itching to play my mistweaver monk again.
Nah, they just needed to make it an optional toggle. You can convert seasonal characters in other games when you want. I'm sure they'll stop dragging their feet and eventually offer that option to players in future remixes, but sadly it may be a while.
Mop was the probably the ONLY expansion that every class was ridiculously strong

@@PlantTube. Well kinda, but it was artifact power mostly.. Baseline classes during Legion were not that strong. That is a good thing actually and if they decide to do a legion remix it would be super fun without spiraling out of controll so fast if they limit or completely remove artifact grind.

I'll do literally any remix when it comes out, even Classic/Vanilla, particularly if they include the same quality of new, cool cosmetic rewards like they did with MoP remix.
A chance to earn all of those old armor sets without a boring every-week grind? Yes, please. I can't tell you how many times I fought Onyxia solo on my Paladin trying to get that damned Judgement helmet that would never drop. I would alternate between Onyxia and Nefarian over and over for months, sometimes not bothering for the week because I didn't want to make the long trek to her lair from Orgrimmar, until I finally got it. I didn't play my character much after getting it and honestly I probably shouldn't have bothered even though I kept it equipped until this past week, because the minute I logged into him for the first time in a long time, I just set him to the Legion PvP set I used during that expansion that matches Ashbringer perfectly. Probably my favorite Paladin set in the game. Looks ridiculously good on a belf.
@@Lucifronz Exactly! completely agree. Remix reminded me THIS IS A GAME, and its ok to NOT compete all the time and just enjoy even flying arround. Imagine getting all those rewards lost in time. I have a few but unfortunately they got lost when they implemented the transmog system... sad thing they never fixed it. So i wouldnt mind a vanilla remix for sure. And yeah belfs look so good any armor looks pretty cool.

MoP Remix made so much fun BUT they should give us a bit of gold for all the bronze etc. we've. Not much but a ratio like maybe 1.000 or 10.000 gold per 100.000 bronze. Because you could barely made gold in MoP Remix and tbh I could need some gold. :D But if you get 2k gold per character on level 70 that's cool aswell. I leveled like 40 chars so 80k gold.

The bars getting reset happens whenever you boost a character or do the gear update when you haven't played in a while. It makes me so mad. I have my abilities set up and keybinds and it jumbles everything up, destroying your organization and the work you put in. So you have to waste time fixing it. I'm not happy to hear that they're going to do this again, it's bad enough that I have to customize all my settings every time I roll a new toon. Every one gets set up the same exact way, they should actually save my settings.

I loved remix, but lost about 3 weeks to a hurricane and tons of errors after patches that "the new team" tech support wouldn't help with (told me to figure it out myself .. the game was kicking me every 10 seconds, even though I researched and did all the fixes myself). Anyway, my question is, I know my hard earned gear will be gone, but, do we get to keep all of the appearances of that gear? I got so many incredible guns and bows, I want to be able to use those appearances again. And some identical items had different colors. I screen shotted everything lol. I mean, if they are letting folks buy and keep mounts it took me over a DECADE of farming, we should get to keep our gear appearances, yes??

Well that was a silly plan. You were never going to get to keep that kind of power. It literally broke the game at several points. I had to wait like 10 minutes for an animation to finish because the first boss of the Shado-Pan Monastery glitched after the serpent was killed before he could start to be charged up. That's how broken you can get.
It was very entertaining to play mop remix, have an op pj, do millions of dps, I was superman
i literally just rushed 4 characters to level 70 in 9 hour. i probably would have never gotten them to max level with out remix.... it was also really fun spamming heriocs as fast as possible some would be done ine less than 2 minuets.
I was a little disappointed that they took our bags, and health pots. I don't think either of those would have impacted the game play for any other toons, except being able to mail/warband the health pots would have been nice for other toons when they hit 50+ in the future. I am sure that TWW will have bigger pots, but it would have been good to have SOME on this toon with out having to hit my alch up. also, not sure why they ported us back to the capital cities. the shrines are still actively accessible. by any toon. that is not a big deal, but just a curiosity.
At the beginning of remix it was mentioned that any of the bank slots and bags purchased would transfer over. Has anyone verified that yet?

all the bloated stats will be normalized, it was fun being OP but we're returning to the present and such cant remain bloated. going into TWW with 7 Mil HP for example would've been unholy busted.

Are you getting the 467iLvl gear regardless if you even have any gear at all or even if you upgraded all items to max with bronze? I'm just thinking if it's worth to scrap all your gear for bronze on the last day just to grab any ensembles you might have not collected by then.
After the event ends your character turns into a basic boosted character, as if you just bought the lvl 70 boost from store. But the only difference is that you get to keep your gold and reputations. Everything else like your bags and gear is now basic boosted package. Hope this helps.

Seeing Chen's hat in the thumbnail got me salty. I got the Kun-Lai Summit achievements done, but didn't receive it. Sent out a ticket to Blizzard about it, but they couldn't do anything about it. They said this wasn't a common issue and to reset my UI and turn off all addons. Did that, nothing. THEN when it's a week left I get a new response saying there are other players experiencing the same thing, and that the devs were working on a fix for it.
I still don't have that hat...

The pre-expansion (memories) patch is dropping at times ilvl 490+ gear. you're kind of getting screwed by not being able to do that.

I dusted off a bunch of toons this past week and took them through the Radiant Echos they will have better gear then my remix toons I've been playing and working on for months. I knew the runes, and gems were going away but we should have at least kept the 476 iLvL we earned
