Rajamouli with Baahubali franchise brought Indian cinema together and with #RRR he took Indian cinema Global. He has 100% success ratio and everyone knows about his Box office numbers. The great attribute about SSR is that he constantly changed Indian cinema's technical ability and also never lost his touch to India's Indigenous storytelling style. Rajamouli sir is the "Most" Indian filmmaker who knows India's illustrious History and delivers a a beautiful amalgamation of Technical and great storytelling through his movies. Though he has criticism that he takes very long time to make a movie but he delivers it every time without fail. He changed Indian cinema's landscape by altering Audiences perspective from Adoring Stars to Adoring filmmakers & technicians. His next movie will definitely set another benchmark and can’t wait to him to make Mahabharata 🙏

Each movie is better than the previous one. And each movie made him more successful and famous than the next one. That's why he found so many opportunities to branch out, first nationwide and then internationally.

Many issues that seem to pop up in foreign reviews of Indian movies are with ‘ goofiness’ or odd interactions between characters .Exactly the question’ why are these movies like they are?’😂.That’s because they are ‘masala’ movies which are essentially heavy exaggerations of cultural mannerisms for pure theater entertainment.and not all masala movies can be like RRR which was exceptionally good for that genre with both actors and an equally impressive budget. They are usually made for people who want or don’t mind maximum suspension of disbelief to watch their favorite actor but depending on the the budget/ director can seem unbelievable sometimes. Not everybody’s cup of tea, especially if one is not used to them. Also if the movie is based on Indian ‘ itihasa( roughly mythology)Eg Yamadonga shows neither heaven nor hell but Yama’s abode, the god of death. If one is familiar with the character of Yama, the whole situation becomes comic-tragic ,exactly like it was meant to be. otherwise it’s just goofy:))For more realistic writing and story one should not watch masala movies or those with heavy cultural undertones to start with ,but movies belonging to other genres or more contemporary settings. And there are tons of those as well in India.

The main lead in maryada ramanna, Sunil is a really good comedian and a great dancer too. Ram Charan's father Mr. Chiranjeevi is his inspiration. He himself mentioned that in many interviews. Upto that point, Sunil mostly played comedic relief for most of his career and before maryada ramanna he played as lead in only one film and that film didn't work too well at box office. But rajamouli took a huge gamble and trusted Sunil and casted him. To make it easier for you to understand Sunil is Jim Carrey and to most of of us can't imagine Jim Carrey as main lead right.? Same with Sunil. Most of us didn't see Sunil as a main lead. But rajamouli made it possible and scored a hit at the box office. The voice for bike is given by Ravi Teja. He is also a big name in Telugu film industry. Good performer. Started his career as assistant director and from there he climbed to villain or side goon in a gang type of characters and eventually became a main lead acted nearly 70+ as a main lead. Came to industry without any film background or support. He also played main lead in one of the rajamouli's older movies Vikramarkudu.

talking about action genre, rrr is the greatest action epic to ever come out of india , second will be bahubali duology , but it has a lot of poorly made fight sequences didnt have focused story compared to rrr and the overall filmmaking lacks behind rrr , ssr has definitely raised everything with rrr , but yeah bahubali was groundbreaking for india and indias first fantasy epic and again rrr is the greatest action epic , legend just introducing groundbreaking movies over and over again 🌋 , and lastly rrr has very unique story , just the idea of bringing two legendary freedom fighter in a fictional action drama in colonial era itself is fresh and epic , india has trash in terms of action movies , just copying hollywood or cattering nonsensical stardom , thats all we have seen since sholay , although sholay too was a copy of a hollywood movies but yeah it was amazing , and also i am an indian so i know how songs are used in action movies in💩 india yeah songs like besharam rang and swag se karenge swagat and salaam rocky bhai are definetely well placed for narrative 💩

🌟 The biggest problem and most funny issue which is happening through movies in india is, the India Culture (Hindu culture) shown in the movies, and in real life are completely different, and that carries a weird scenes in the movies which even indian public feel weird and bad, i mean the directors show it in either BAD WAY, EXTREMLY BAD WAY by adding things which WE NEVER SAW , something so weird that it doesn't connects to audience. so, when a Non-indian tries to watch movies for indian flavour then it will be like a ALL MIX FRUIT JUICE.
only very few movies potray true hindu culture, so for the sake of SO CALLED CREATIVITY most of the directors signals weird and different ithings in movies and labels it as indian culture which only exits in their minds. originally the culture of india is so beautiful and the ROLE OF A WOMEN IN MOVIES AND INDIA and INDIAN HISTORY IS SO COMPLETLY OPPOSITE and even WE WORSHIP WOMAN and they have higher place than men in society, BUT in 1.45 Billion population you can't label everyone to be the same, even 500 people sounds a lot but in 1.45 B the ratio is very less. we used to have warrior queens in our land and they used to fight against the invaders, we already had female president and prime minister and U.S being the moral police of the world never had any women leader in the highest position.

I think it could be so good if you guys just talk generally about Indian cinemas than talking more specifically on rajamouli because jimmy is a guy who saw lot of Indian movies and do a truthful review about it. i always love his honesty and non-biasness of Bollywood or other movie industry in india. he also saw many story driven and realistic movies of india. if you guys talked generally then you can find many gems of Indian movies which are realistic and great story content. most of the rajamouli movies are based on Indian people interest because most of us don't give more reality check if the emotion of character is well based. to understand easier our heroes has some superpowers of fighting without considering them as superheroes. INDIA also makes many movies based on content, acting, plot driven story which are more realistic to foreign people and liked by them. for example K.G.F 2 was the number 1 hit in india which was not liked by many foreign people. it also not realistic but indians likes those character very much including me. thanks for your reaction. if you want story and acting based movies i would recommend " my name is khan" in bollywood, " jana gana mana " in Malayalam, "kakka muttai and ratchasan " in Tamil movie industry.

We decided on Rajamouli because he has taken the world by storm with his current film and we wanted to introduce people who appreciated RRR to some of his other movies. I am hoping for more discussions with Jimmy, Deniz, Melanie, Nona and many others covering many other aspects of Indian cinema!

Most of SS Rajamouli's family members are involved in his movies be it his father, wife, son, his cousin MM Keeravani and Keeravani's wife and Son... That's a big list we know as of today 🤣

  • @tarakeshwarallamsetty5759

If you have to watch Mayabazar, it is available on CZcams. There is so much context you have to know even before delving into the movie. The filmmaker has taken a small part from 'Mahabharat' .Each character has its own backstory .I would recommend not watching Mayabazar , you would be lost .
