Oversized Loads on Bendigo Hospital Move

On the morning of Thur 24/10/17 4 sections of a overhead walkway were moved from the outskirts of Bendigo to the new hospital site. The first 2 left west Bendigo just after 04 00 for the 45 min trip to the hospital, with Powercor having to lift some power lines to allow the moves to pass under. The first 2 moves used Big Hill cranes Kenworth K200, and T909, and the second move used a Big Hll Cranes K200, and a Hi Haul Scammell.
The loads came in at almost 6.5 meters high.
