- An unconvincing win against Ipswich Grammar School has the coaching staff concerned about the potential distraction of Old Boys weekend, while the rugby playing musicians prepare for their big night. Nerves and excitement grip the school community while the countdown continues for the clash against The Southport School. As the big day dawns, the boys’ anxiety is instantly alleviated at kickoff, as 8000 spectators gather for the biggest schoolboy game of the year. queensland comp deeper but top of nsw higher quality
It's a little bit misleading, as (at least when I went to school) the First XV were a year older in NSW due to some difference with the schools systems. QLD would have a hard time at the national comps
I'd say Brisbane GPS is more entertaining, any game any outcome especially in recent years.

@@zTheRPR to be fair, the game was lost before the kick off. listen to what some of the BBC boys were saying before the game. One of the boys said ' IF we won, how amazing that would be". Shit, you should never be thinking IF you won, You should be thinking WHEN we win! thats the winning attitude! People dont understand the power of words and to say that to your team mates pollutes the mind. They came out fireing off the blocks and as the coaches were saying, the best they looked all season. But that was false confidence, riding all on emotion. It was only a matter of time befoe the emotion subsided. TSS showed their character and never wavered. The good teams always find a way to win because the battle is won in the mind. TSS had better mental strength even when they were coping a hiding at the start. They are only young but a good lesson for the future for whatever endevour they choose to follow.
You need to come to not everything is about you school
