Just the fact your honest and real man makes people keep wanting to watch. Glad your the caliper person you are. Humble honest and actually wanting to help people learn. This is GOLD.
I’ve said before, my favorite part of your videos is when you spray the clear. Amazing how every color changes so much with the clear laid down. You are 1 busy man. Glad business is good but remember to find time for your own projects. I look forward to an update on your truck 👍
It's good to know that I'm not the only one that seems like every time I paint there's a problem, especially seeing someone else have those issues and have a great result!
For me , planning before spraying helps. Having your cups of base/ clear etc ready to go. And even rehearsing the spray sequence help avoid as much issues as possible. Also having a thermometer with humidity readings to select correct activator. Prepping the vehicle, yourself and your tools helps more than we think. And slower is faster. I would hear these guys say this on CZcams and I would overlook their comment until I found myself doing double work.
One Man Show. You are great at every step that needs to be taken for a great paint job and I love how you always emphasize the importance guide coat and blocking and the cut and buff you never half-ass it great job as usual
You're absolutely right about always something going wrong painting. I worked as a body man and the painter wet sanded and buffed absolutely every job - he didn't even count on 1 single job coming out of the booth w/ nothing wrong. Like you said - there's always something - a bug, run, mottling, drag the hose, dirt, lazy tape job, messing it up putting it together...................... Great looking paint job my friend - enjoy the rest of the week 👍
Man, i was watching a video of a pro painter in a body shop and all that fancy stuff doing paint then i came back to your video and i feel like your videos are alot more calm and stressless to watch, love it!
They’re much calmer for sure. Those shops are straight production. Move move move. A booth is cool but that’s about it. Sprayway and true grit and underground king run their own shop. I do this on the side and rented shop space (sharing ). Ended up going back to the home with it. On your own, the only stress is what YOU bring to yourself, not a landlord that is overbearing or a shop owner that presses and rushes you. If you mess up, stop and start the next day
@@dardenvern Exactly man, i have my own painting business aswell (akimbo painting on youtube ) and ive never felt happier in my life knowing someones not watching my every move !
Man I've gotta say, I never get tired of watching your videos. You've taught me so much by your descriptive step by step. One thing I did notice is your air hose wanting to get caught up on the tires. Here's a tip for you to try. Get you 4 tennis balls and put them on the corners of the tires. The air hose won't get caught up and.pinched on the tires. Works for water hoses when washing your ride too!
The clear sure laid down nicely on top of the base coat, the paint looks fantastic. I assume some viewers wonder what size was the metal flake and what size spray gun tip that was used ? that would be good info for the viewers to have. This car will catch other car entusiasts eye, choosing the right rims and tire combo will make it look awesome.
Sprayway you always drop gems, helpful tips and ideas that I never learned in trade school. Thank you for inspiring me to stay in the game. Salute the GOAT
I always say the best talent never gets all recognition the best singer the best musicians best ball players the best of everything is in a backyard with not enough recognition this goes to show even the best paint jobs can come from a guy in a garage in his backyard can do what all the big names can do keep up the great work thanks for the videos
That’s a Great paint gun light , I have that same one, and I really like that it has a motion sensor so you can turn it on and off without touching it, incase you have paint on your hands. 👍🏽👍🏽 by the way, awesome paint job , as always.
A tip for the light is to throw some Surandwrap on it to keep the light clean. Then you just replace it. I made my own lights off Amazon head lamps and Velcro
Great job! I have a 1979 camaro that I'm working on restoring, and I want to spray it a gm silver and flake it with a large flake. I may have to reach out to you and get a bit of info on best way to do that. Thanks for the great videos.
Somehow I didn’t see this video, glad I found it.clear can run like water if you don’t let it flash or don’t have your gun dialed in. A little cut n buff(sanding) she be all right.thanks John from Arizona
Keep spraying Sir, your finishes are prestine. My finishes are a bit peeled, can’t trust myself yet to let it fly a bit more. More gun time I’m sure will help. I’m learning from you, thank you
I came up with a similar idea years ago with the light i got one you put on your head wrapped it around the cup like this. Best way i figured out to keep it clean wrap a sandwich bag on it with a rubber band just take it off and throw it away when done with each job
Should set up a Amazon referral list and link it to your description in your videos. This will give you some kick back anytime someone buys something off of your list. Thanks for the video!
Dig the Color 🎉 , Bama . If that's the worst thing that happens to you then you are a blessed man. Blessed coming in , blessed going out . Pray before you spray 🙏
Not a problem brother good to see you finally get to give it a go, that first button that put the blue light on is the setting I'm not a fan of it's a sensor turn on so wave your hand infront to turn it on and off and also if you get closer then 6inches to the panel it will do the same thing, you want to press the other button that changes the light settings and go to the one that has the outer lights and the center light on I r just the outer lights is the one i use and tilt the light all the way down so its aiming in to the middle of ur spray pattern bud, glad you like the light mate just have a play with it and see what's best for you, Tony puts the clingwrap/ sandwich wrap on his to keep it clean I'm sure he has a video on it
Hey man, trust me if you were in Texas or by near me where I live I would hire you in a heartbeat people like you that’s what we need taking part in their job

Seems like putting that flake in a midcoat carrier or do a medium coat of clear with it and a slow activator (weather depending of course) so that flake has some time to lay down..
Hey Spray; I asked UPK how many trolls he get on his duraglass in a rust hole vid, and he said none. I looked at all the comments here, and nobody givin you hell for gettin a run. I got a thousand or more trolls for each of those things🤣🤣🤣
What color did that base start with before adding the microflake? It looks very similar to my '93 Fleetwood Broughm 87/WA5328 which none of the touchup paint manufacturers make anymore. I've been looking for something close but with some extra bling, kind of what you ended up with here.
Even the way you mask is meticulous. Your 100%, nothing gone wrong day, followed by many more is coming soon. I would have you paint my car if I lived nearby. Will be using the Urechem Soul Red Metallic in my DIY attempt very soon. However, the work you do with micro flake yields the bling I want. I could add a micro flake to the Intercoat. Any opinions or suggestions on do’s/don’t, or micro flake color are welcomed.
Boy you bad!!! I love pearl whites. I don’t know what it is about that pearl. I want some bigger flakes on my F150. I don’t have all those classics like y’all.

SprayWay, what's the difference in appearance when you mix the flake with the base rather than inter coat clear or clearcoat?
It’s more gritty in basecoat than intercoat but once you cut n buff you won’t be able to tell the difference
Use a Prolite with a T110 cap 1.3 tip all your runs will go away lol that’s also spraying at a slower pace
The runs happened by bumping the fan pattern knob by mistake
Sweet….
