- Valheim is coming to Microsoft Store and Xbox! It will be available with PC Game Pass in fall 2022, and with Xbox Game Pass in early 2023. There will be full crossplay support between Xbox, Microsoft and Steam.
Valheim is made by developer Iron Gate, published by Coffee Stain Publishing. Porting for Microsoft Store and Xbox has been made by developers Piktiv and Fishlabs.

@@losdemas2000 I'll just lure the Fulings to the tar pit and let the Growths fight it off with the Fulings. They usually end up fighting each other if you don't actively attack them yourself.
What about the mistlands we've been waiting for?
Would be super cool to see buildings like the community did in "destroyed" format added to the world in its procedural generation. would be awesome to explore old destroyed viking realms

I totally agree. They’re seriously dragging their feet with this game.
Obsidian's Grounded early access did a lot of content updates in its first year and are leaving it in September (13 people team). The pace Iron Gate is taking kinda worries me.
@@kassaken6521 doesn't help when they took like 3 month vacation. Posting pics of buying horses for the team and random shit. Had so much hope for this game but feels they scored big and now they feel no need to do anything quickly.

I'm really glad they're going to get more players but can they please update their game? they haven't followed any of their roadmap at this point and this explains why. they've been too busy making a Xbox port

They outsourced the xbox port to a different studio. This feels like a final money pump before they abandon the game.

6 months between patches that bring content worth 2 days, this game's biggest problem is the super slow dev road map.

Super slow devs and nazi mods that remove any criticism will kill this game fast af until it's just a small circle jerk of fanboys telling themselves they got what they were promised. Nothing special, many EA titles go this route.
Are you adding achievements to all platforms?
I'm stoked Valheim is coming to consoles, even though I don't own one. I hope to see more hidden gems yall have been working on while slowly chipping away at the infamous Mistlands. 🤘
This is refreshing to see. I'm a console gamer and most pc gamers think we're holding development back. Actually with cross play it just means more players to play with.

It will be released to Xbox as a Game Preview Play title, which is their version of Early Access. It will continue to be under development for the next couple years.

Part of me thinks "Sweet, more people can play Valheim. This is great!" But the other part of me thinks "Wow, we still have only received ONE decent update in the 1.5 years since release. Is this why it's taken so long?" The original road map had like 4-6 chunky updates planned for 2021 alone. Then we got one lackluster update with some new building materials, then an even smaller one with a new enemy type and a suit of armor. In 1.5 years. Big disappointment, Iron Gate.

if you are buying the game based on the reviews from launch and you are comfortable with that being all there ever will be then by all means purchase it. I had a blast playing the game. if you think this title is still being updated or there will be additional content then walk away. it has been well over a year and we've seen nothing. the original roadmap was abandoned and there has been zero actual content since. don't believe me, then you have been warned, my friend. :) sad that this game went from my favorite to cobwebs on the shelf.
isn't it best to finish this game and turn it more into a Viking game and you know sort out the performance of the game also, like there a few bosses once you do them and get silver you are finished with the game, i think it's unfair to bring a game to another platform, that is nowhere near finished.
Tell me about it, it's been a year and a half since I last played and they haven't even finished the final boss which was already mostly complete and added no new content gameplay wise. It's really sad to see the game heading in this direction cause it has the potential to be one of the best survival RPG's ever made and was some of the most fun I've had in gaming and it is an amazing multiplayer experince. The game easily cleared $140 million in sales and instead of expanding and making sure the game reached its full potential we get this.
I was JUST talking about how awesome it would be for Valheim to be cross-platform so I could play with my non-PC friends.
Please if not when it's released cross progression would be an excellent edition

Developers, are you going to make the ending of this game? Because according to the plot, after defeating the bosses, the main character should go to Valhalla, but this does not happen, nothing happens at all.
I’m gonna cry if this ends up like a console port of rust/dayz I truly want this game to be good for console as the pc version,it’s a shame console just keeps getting way too many bad ports

game is dead, the devs ran with money... the first day they recieved their money they rented a jet to fly down to the warm lands, where they drank their cold drinks while looking at naked ladies , and thinking at the same time how they really was fucking with the playerbase of the game... Do not exspect this game to be developed further.. and one other thing... they have deleted alot of post on the forum covering their trails because people got suspesius, and they could not handle that
