I read the book in 1 day. I know, I am a crazy person. My favorite of Ali’s books was The Love Hypothesis. I used to work in biology labs in college so I love all of the references! They remind me so much of that time in my life. However, I really am scared she will keep repeating similar stories but with slightly different academic disciplines. I read all three of her novellas and I am crossing my fingers the trend does not continue with the repetition. Regarding Love on the Brain, I loved the beginning, the ending was not as impactful for me. The twist did not seem as earned as the one in the Love Hypothesis. It was good, but I did not love it as much. Maybe it is because I read it so so fast. After I eventually re-read it, I will evaluate. Lastly, my kindle edition did not even mention Love Theoretically so I am so excited!!!! Does anyone have details on that book?
Girl, I am not a novella person either, but those short stories were amazing! Totally worth a read, and they're all a bit interconnected so it felt like one long book in some ways.
I will def have to give them a try! Just wanted to read another full length book by her first 😊
YES!!!!! i was waiting for your review! i read the book in like one day, and i loved the fact that Ali Hazelwood gave more room for Bee and Levi in the book, because that is something i missed A LOT in The Love Hypothesis. Loved the beginning, didn't liked very much the plot (compared to the first book, i thought this one was weak) and i didn't like the end. At all. BUT i loved bee and levi, they're amazing together

I loved love on the brain!!! I deffo got what you were saying with that sub plot I saw that coming from a mile away and was waiting till they figured it out. I was so shocked at the twist didn’t see that coming and love Levi so much!!
LOVE levi. and samee didn't suspect guy to be like that at all 😭 later in the book he was a LITTLE weird but nothing that stood out, wasn't as obvious as Tom in the love hypothesis. I love love on the brain much better

I can't wait to read this. The Love Hypothesis is one of my favorite books 📚 ❤️ I just finished The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo and it became one of my favorite books of all time. Beautifully written and such an emotional roller coaster. I highly recommend it.

Finished this one last night. I wanted to love it as much as The Love Hypothesis but that twist in the end was… a bit weak. Don’t get me wrong, I still liked it, but it didn’t give me quite all the feels that TLH did.

I finished it in about a day and a half and I must say, I really enjoyed it. Was it TLH? No, but it was still really good. I think my biggest dig with it seems to be what everyone else's is that the ending was kinda weak. Overall though I loved the book and all the references and quirkiness of it!! Excited to go back through eventually as I had a lot of highlights

I wanted to love it so much but I didn’t. Maybe bc I didn’t understand the references that well, all the Marie Curie stuff was a lil bit too much for me and I was waiting for her to say those three words to HIM so much but she never did. I love Ali and love hypothesis for me was better than this one. My only complain is that her love confessions from the men are amazing but from the women are a bit lazy. I was waiting for a dramatic confession in both books.

I gave love on the brain 3 stars, in my opinion it was very mediocre and didn’t live up to my expectations, I prefer the love hypothesis, I gave that book 5 stars. I really wanted to like love on the brain, but it just didn’t work for me. I’m glad it worked for you

I absolutely love her writing, I laugh and cry and want to be friends with her female leads so bad but I just cannot understand her obsession with Adam Driver bc hes one of the least attractive people I've ever seen and she describes the male leads as if they're the most beautiful creatures alive
