- Hey all. This is my crafting build video for dexterity! This goes over how to make strong and overpowered builds for dexterity! This one was a ton of fun to do, as Dexterity is a favorite of mine. I hope this video is helpful in making and crafting your own dexterity builds!

Is there a good farming spot for the bandit curved sword?
@@Slykillful there is a sage cave in Mt.Gelmir and behind some illusionary walls there are some skeleton enemies, most of which use the weapon. Pop a gold pickled fowl foot and you should have them in no time 👍🏻
@@JayNotion you would want to pop a silver pickled fowl foot for increased item discovery. The gold pickled foot increases number of runes dropped.

@TheKingofRedLightning for sure man. There's a guide video for you, various guard counters. As someone who watches damn near every ER build video on youtube, I can tell you there aren't many unless Fextralife does it as part of theirs.

Can you do a dex dagger build guide? Like is it better for keen or is it based off the type of dagger?
Your build ideas are very similar to mine, I'll check out the other videos too!
The only difference is I don't use a lot of buffs because I like just dancing with the bosses on my dex builds

Have you ever used daggers? Small hit box but successive multi hits are extremely powerful

Hello, I am a big fan of the Nagakiba sword, I’m glad it was included in the builds. May I ask, what ashes of war did you use on it? Very informative by the way, I only just re-started playing Elder Ring so I’m a bit rusty with everything😂.

Starting? Go Samurai. Uchigatana & Nagakiba. Double slash is good early, I have a guide coming out this weekend for an early game Samurai. Later on, the Guardian Swordspear is crazy good too. 🤘
I saw you did not really cover stats too much and were using GV with lower faith. You prefer going up to 25 or using maybe the AoW on a light off hand? Great video!
Thanks! And base faith is 15, 25 with the faith tear. The incantation is stronger & double the length of the ash. So I prefer the incantation for sure. Stats & soft caps are in the video too 👍

Im coming back to Elden Ring to prep for the dlc. Is double uchigatana +25 with seppuku still viable? How does it compare to the current meta? I haven't played the game since beating it at launch 2 years ago. Thanks.
Seppuku is still broken on anything. It’s best on curved swords & twinblades though.

Would it be a waste of stats to go 60/60 Dex/Faith with the Lightning Affinity build? I'm currently running a Dex/Faith build using a Nagakiba with Vykes Dragonbolt/Electrify Weapon (and sometimes Bolt of Gransax), but I really like the moveset of curved swords and this build looks fun, but I'm not sure if I should respec some Faith levels into Dex or just try these weapons with 60/60 Dex/Faith?
60 dex & faith could make for a fun and good build. Imo you should be fine for sure 👍

Do you think the curved swords would be better with Electrify Armament on a 60/60 build (and use the ash of war for something else), or is it better to stick with Lightning Slash?
@@Zackologic lightning slash if you want to use it on both. Since the faith buffs like lightning & Bloodflame can only be applied to one weapon.
About the 20% flame damage. Can the spear be used with bloodflame blade? To make use of the flame damage for radagon
Bloodflame blade has a small amount of fire damage. So it wouldn’t increase it much. It also works best on weapons with innate bleed (Nagakiba, Grave Scythe, etc) since it only gets 40 flat bleed. Radagon is also immune to bleed lol so a pure fire build would be better. Blasphemous blade’s ash can take him down very fast.

How have I never seen that done before @ 1:20 ? What is that, a Nagakiba w/ Bloodflame Blade and … can only think of a sorcery that spins like that, not an Ash. Holy hell I’m trying that out.
Yep you can! It’s spinning weapon ash of war. You get it from Rogier in Stormveil castle.

How do u find the passives on the armor... You said the raptor armor boosts jump attacks
You mostly have to look them up/google them for exact amounts. Otherwise it’s based off the item description but those can be vague.
Do you need to upgrade your Arcane for the blood build?
Nope. Keen is dexterity. And bloodflame blade is a flat 40 bleed.
If your over level 150 what should you put the rest of your rune's into?
Depends how high of a level you are. Get Dexterity to 80. If you get faith to 33 you can use howl of Shabriri which is 5% more than FGMS (and lasts longer too). 60 vigor, probably 25 mind & getting to 25-30 endurance would be good. If eventually you get to level 250+ you can put a lot of weapons in quality, and invest in both strength in Dex for more AR. 🤘
Did they patch the the off hand receiving the lighting ash of war cuz it’s not working for me
You have to 2 hand the off hand one, activate it then go back to powerstancing.
What order should I level up the stats?
Vigor & endurance first with minimum weapon requirements. Then go for Dexterity. 🤘

I beat Radagon, Elden Beast, and Malenia for the first time yesterday by applying Black Blade then just spamming Taker's Flames with my Mimic Tear out. Brute-forced it.

I'm on my second play through after a year away from the game. I love the Samurai and the Dex build but I want to make sure I get the most out of it.
I'm not doing NG+ yet as I made so many mistakes on the first play through I want to have a cleaner character build. This video helped a lot (plus its recent not filled with 2 year old info before all the patches and nerfs).

Probably Golden Vow, & FGMS or Howl. Those are all I really use for Dex builds.

The one thing that annoys me about dexterity is the fact that you get no advantage from two handing. That means that a lot of dex weapons are still better with a heavy infusion if you plan on two handing them.
It depends on how the weapon scales. After 80 strength you don’t get many more points. So if you can get to 70-80 Dex you’re good. Between 80-99 is negligible returns.
@@TheKingofRedLightning This answer sounded familiar, so I checked and it turns out I made a comment like this before on one of your videos 😄.
You're right that it depends on how your weapon scales. The ones that scale extremely well with dex are indeed better off with keen scaling, even when two-handing. Prime example being the guardian swordspear.
But my point was that a lot of weapons that have better scaling on keen vs heavy, still do better with heavy infusion because of the two-handing buff to strength. The soft cap for str is 80, but you can reach it with str 54. Like twinblades and katana's for example.
Why do you always use faith knot on your physik
I use a lot of buffs, they’re helpful esp on NG+7. Base Faith is 15-23. The 10 levels lets me use Golden Vow & Howl or FGMS.
Can someone explain me how he got 60 vigor, 70 dex and the other stats? I mean he only is lvl 150…

Faith tear for buffs, so it adds up to 160 with the tear. Base level is 10 in each stat.
golden vow and flame grant me strength do stack! blood boil doesnt stack with flame grant me strength though
Yep that info is in there. 1 body buff & 1 aura buff you can stack.

You can use it twice during the fight, but only in phase 1. They also carry over to NG+.

This build is complete shit... I got more damage out of my eleonora's polearm without any use of tears.
These kinds of videos are only marginally helpful. You show us a NG+ build. I’m on my first play through. My character isn’t god level yet. I have 2 talisman slots and less than half of the spells. This is less of a “how to build” video and more of a “ how to tweak your god level character” video
This is for people that have some experience with elden ring already. Early game there’s not as much you can do with builds. Based on the good feedback I’ve gotten on these, it’s helped a lot of players.
Then get better
Just looking for a “build” where should I be at level 50? 100? Etc. not a matter of getting better. It’s an understanding of the skill points, actually building the character. Not just gear.
Your first order of business should be getting your talisman slots and spell slots. From there you figure out what weapon type you want to run. Go get the weapon you want. Follow a guide. Then see what talismans compliment that weapon. Go get those. If your on your first playthrough you should be doing that. You won't get to experiment with a lot until you've beat the game. Enjoy that first go through it. There's nothing like it. NG+ is where you try all the new builds with all the weapons and stuff you've collected. After you beat Raya Luc you can respec.
If you're looking for a guide to actually start the game there are many. The whole idea of a game like this though is to learn the mechanics and timing of the game. There's a huge gap between players just starting out with gifted stuff and players who actually played the game.
