    Awesome demonstration. I have ~36,000 sq ft of kbg and I'm exploring whether I can manage it with a battery powered backpack sprayer. What's a reasonable gallons per 1000 sq ft? There's a big difference in how many refills I'll need at .5 gallons vs 2 gallons per 1000 sq ft, so I'm trying to get a good estimate.

    • @RonHenry
      @RonHenry  Před 11 měsíci +2

      I like a rate of 1 gallon of product mix per 1000 square feet. Strikes a good balance between coverage how often you need to refill the tank. Unless stated otherwise on the label, most products work well with that dilution rate.

    Some of those plants we call weeds actually grow into some pretty cool shapes. I let 2 or 3 weeds grow next to my office window and now they are full grown beautiful creatures. I'd recommend a time-lapse of a weed field for 6 months and see if there are any special or unique species hiding in there that only flower in the summer, I think you'd be surprised. Sometimes it's like magic, random blue and purple flowers will start blossoming all over my lawn it's great. Fun to look at. I have to cut the grass at some point or else the ticks creep in though, so I just try to cut around the patches of cool stuff.
