Perhaps MND / SLA/ URA gazette the last Fisherman Village as Conserved Fisherman Village Heritage Site & The Tourist Promotion Board help Mr Christopher to maintain the place including its boats & fishing equipment, and and keep it going plus give him grants to help out his livelihood. Fisherman live is tough and physically demanding. Christoper is getting old and would not be able to keep going forever.
How to apply to enter the fishing village, i try to enter few times but the guard don't allow us to go in, if anyone knows how to enter the village, please share, thanks

尤其是我们年龄大了。更向往有这种地方走走，回忆以前的农村生活。看看海，吹吹海风。心胸也宽广。

我们现在整个新柔海峡的水质 ，随著城市的扩建和工业的发展 ，已经受到了相当严重的污染 。再加上东西海流无法贯通 ，在海底囤积了大量污泥和淤泥，又无法被冲刷，就形成大量毒素的累计，也就使到🐟群和水下生物无法生存 。如果再不做预先的评估和筹划，那再过些十年，这遍海域将成为一个生命的禁区 。
如果要改变新柔海峡的水质和条件，最好的方法最是把新柔长提，改建成新马大桥 。只有这样才能让新柔海峡东西两边的海水互相流通 。相信随着水体的流通被改善，对当地的水产和自然生态，会起到更好的影响 。只要两国政府秉持着改良和环保的良好心态，必定能共同创造出美好的将来 ，为我们生存的土地献出一份力 ，也是为了我们的后代做出贡献 。

新加坡政府常常讲要有甘榜精神，但新加坡政府所做所为却消灭有甘榜文化特色的地区与生活方式。
廿榜文化或地区不一定只是那些老舊，二战排屋或阿塔屋。
廿榜生活文化也不是一二十年可以建起来的，是耍经过一两代人互相互助建立起来的一生活，交往的方式。
组屋区也可以成为有廿榜生活的特色。但政府却把这些由上一代人所建立的甘榜特色的组屋都一一拆除消失了。
希望这些人能想想什么叫廿榜精神，什么叫廿榜生活。
政府组屋，私人排屋，洋房等地区都是可以成为有廿榜精神与生活方式，而不是到了三五十年后，这些区域才建立起来的廿榜精神，生活方式，为了所谓的发展一一将这些地区折与從建。
好不容易建立起来的廿榜精神的火苗又被消灭了。
