Come joins us as we explore the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain in 3 days. We visited Park Guell, Barcelona Cathedral, Gothic Quarter, Sagrada Familia and more. On 3rd day, we did a day trip from Barcelona to Montserrat, which is an hour train ride. We visited Barcelona, Spain in December and had an amazing time. To answer your questions - We booked our hotel in L'Eixample neighborhood in Barcelona. It is a quiet neighborhood and we loved it. However, if you want to stay near beach area or old town For that, you can check El Born District or Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter).

We use T-Mobile here in the USA which has good international plan. It was sufficient for us and worked fine in Spain.
