      I agree! Do you know why the nominees all say "Thank you for your question?" There's a time limit and it's such a waste of time and, in my opinion, makes them sound like trained sheep. I think it's so unnecessary and ridiculous. That's why they're there, to be asked questions. What do you think?

      I'm constrained to disagree, in part. Often, to answer a question either "yes" or "no" demands, in addition, that one defend his or her answer with an explanation. But too many of these nominees refuse to answer "yes" or "no" at all and instead insist on speaking a lot of blather that doesn't answer the question at all. It's mighty frustrating. And I say that as a Democrat.
