A heartwarming, but also quite tearful and emotional episode to be honest! This, along with New Engines in Charge are tied to being my favorites from your series!
I really love how you gave Rebecca more character development (just like in her episodes in S22, as well as being relatable to anyone), being naive and worrisome (as well as still being new to Sodor), and I do feel sorry for her when she got tricked by Diesel, Splatter and Dodge, and the heart-to-heart relationship between her and Nia is beautifully written, along with the message the latter gave (which is a great moral). Liz Productions5784 and Yilin Zhou did spectacular with their roles respectively. Also, I like how you've added Boomer's theme from TUGS into that scene.
As for Diesel, Splatter and Dodge, the humor with them is great, especially the parts where Diesel gets annoyed with them and when he tries to pull the heavy express. Same would go for Splatter and Dodge when their funny lines crack me up. I only do have one question, (and I hope you don't mind me asking), but would Diesel 10 also be in your series as well?
Thanks for all this feedback it's great to know which parts people really enjoyed! I felt that rebecca being guilable was too obvious a trait for me to not make a story about it. You're absolutely right both vas did a great job! Also the biggest aim of splodge was to make them funny so I'm happy that worked! Also D10 will be in my series in the future (yes I have that much planned out).

That was a superb story. Poor Rebecca getting tricked by Bill and Ben and then Diesel, Splatter and Dodge. You have to feel sorry for Rebecca, she really is a very soft and believable character. But I'm glad Nia helped her out in the end. I am still astonished with how you made the lips move on the characters :D .

Rebecca is my general favourite dream character come true. You’ve done a great job with this! And Liz did a grand job voicing her.
This is what I prefer over the modern T&F. Stories where Nia and Rebecca are main characters but not replacements for Edward and Henry. I hate how two of the oldest engines on Sodor got moved to different sheds and were kicked off the steam team, but I’m not like people who want to see the two new ones scrapped. Great work!

If I was the Fat Controller then I would've provided Diesel a worse punishment, which is working at the waste dump for 3 years.
I mean the Fat Controller doesn't want to send him away because he is sometimes helpful.
This was really good mate! I quite like how you base your James voice on Top Hat. Makes a change from his scouse roots haha. So many good things I could list here: Nia and Rebecca's character personas, Diesel's character being Zorran-esque with Splatter & Dodge and that engine-belch when he's confronted by TFC was brilliant! Love it!

There is no way on Earth Diesel can pull the express he's not as powerful as Rebbeca Gordon and Herny put together. They're more capable of pulling express trains while Diesel isn't. Heck even James can pull express trains.

Very well-written story! Nice to see Splatter and Dodge get a role in it, too!
If I may offer some constructive criticism: It's honestly distracting to see a character's face being animated and then the next shot it isn't. It's really inconsistent. Either have no animation or always have animation - if there are parts you can't be bothered to have a face animated, simply have the camera facing the speaking character's direction so their face isn't seen, despite clearly talking.
the reason that there sometimes was no face animation is because it would look weird usually because of the characters teeth. When I use my own models the problem will hopefully be gone! Also thank you for the feedback!

I officially accept these as canon over BWBA now xD It's pretty easy to forget all the characters are voiced by one or two actors sometimes, which is really great for immersion! In a world where Mattel is pretty much ruining Thomas you and people like you offer a breath of fresh air. :D

This was a great video! I loved the facial animations, the story, I simply loved it! However, when the engines talk, why do sometimes their mouths move, whereas other times, they don't move their mouths at all.
Do you keep Edward, Henry and Toby in the Steam Team?

I found it interesting that in these fan made thomas series so many people give attention to characters from two different eras of thomas that no one likes/trusts more respect than characters from season 7 (the one season that wasn't completely corrupted with flanderization to the series as a whole).
Seriously, Emily gets hated on and shunned by fans for supposedly replacing duck, oliver, and the scottish twins (even though they weren't main characters at all so she didn't really replace them) yet characters like Nia and Rebecca, two characters that only exist to replace edward and henry (who was confirmed out right unlike the "controversy fans have with emily) for the sake of gaining NPC/feminist brownie points get respect and attention by fans, this makes no sense to me and feels like a double standard to me. Hell I also question why annoying characters like philip get respect and attention as well when he's an annoying little shit in his debut episodes, he's a combination of spongebob (season 4 through 9) and jar jar binks.
I can assure you that Nia and Rebecca are not more popular with the fandom than Emily, and people haven't accused Emily of replacing engines 8-11 since around 2006 or so

I like this quite a bit, but the moving lips and faces are quite off putting. I get that this is supposed to be based on more modern cgi thomas, but I think making it in a purely classic style would still look and feel very good. I don’t think Rebecca’s lips have to move just because she is a cgi character.
This was very early days of doing this I think nowadays I've improved a lot on it (see the arthur saga) also when the series comes back it'll be fully cgi and therefore won't be as weird having mouth animations :)

You do fantastic work, this is the first video of your’s Ive seen with the moving mouths, which is probably why it stuck out to me. And tbh, the moving mouths have always been a bit unnerving for me going back to when HiT first introduced them. Keep up the great work!
